Which is why many wealthy people are smart and make the kids find their own path
I like this quote from Warren Buffet:
"Leave your kids enough money to do anything, but not enough to do nothing"
Which is why many wealthy people are smart and make the kids find their own path
"filtering past slow moving traffic"First video in this compilation: Idiots on bikes meet idiot White Van Man, in Toronto. The Gardiner westbound, I would say.
Also no license plates and carrying a spark plug, obviously anticipating its use."filtering past slow moving traffic"
dude gets one vehicle in front and it's not exactly slow moving traffic.
The road surface looks completely clear. I would not be interested in hitting a snowdrift at 213 in a kia though.19 from Brampton, 213 kmh on the 401 @ midnight driving a company car in these road conditions on no season tires. Perfect.
Gotta say 213Km/h in a Kia is kinda impressive. That engine must have been buzzing. The road surface looks completely clear. I would not be interested in hitting a snowdrift at 213 in a kia though.
Lol. We are doomed as a species.Grrr. Some people just need to be dragged out of their vehicles and punched for a while.

I think a reasonable condition is to install a claymore instead of an airbag. Do it again and it will be the last time you screw up. Saves money on the next trial too.Lol. We are doomed as a species.
I saw something really stupid the other day but stupid things are so common I can't recall what it was. It's like seeing pigeons on a bridge.Lol. We are doomed as a species.
When my brother was a traffic cop 50 years ago he'd run into rent-a-cops thinking a badge and uniform made them an almost cop. Add a SECURITY decal and 19 year old ego and it's one more case of highway pinball.19 from Brampton, 213 kmh on the 401 @ midnight driving a company car in these road conditions on no season tires. Sounds like the semi driver was suspended with good reason. I wonder if they were an owner/operator because I would expect any reputable trucking company to know if their driver is suspended.A friend had the decision made for him to buy a new pickup truck. He was heading back from London on the 401 (Right lane) and slowed down because of a car in front of him doing something odd. When he looked in his rear-view mirror, he realized the semi behind him wasn't slowing down so he tried to get onto the shoulder but didn't quite make it.
The semi tried to move left but only succeeded in hitting another vehicle. When everything came to a halt there were two vehicles in the ditch and no semi in sight. Fortunately there were no injuries but vehicles and tools will be well over $100K. Dry roads and no unusual weather conditions.
The OPP eventually caught up with the semi when it broke down from the damage. Apparently the driver was taken away in handcuffs, was driving while suspended and had a bad history, soon to be worse.
Part 1 Why was the car in front of him driving slow and edging off onto the shoulder? The last time I saw that the vehicle had just pulled out of a tavern. Hmmmm. Since everything happened behind that car without contact it just continued on.

An O/O would have trouble getting his abstract past the insurer, suggesting another problem. Fleet coverage could let things slide.Sounds like the semi driver was suspended with good reason. I had to bleed the injectors on a friend's diesel pickup once. Air is too squishy to get things going.@PrivatePilot how upset are modern diesels when you run them dry? What a moron. Not sure if he was trying to make it to cardlock just up the street or what but I can't imagine the fuel system will appreciate this treatment. This happened in Barrie this morning.

I remember cracking all the fuel lines on an old tractor after running it dry. That was a pain. I've fuel starved a modern diesel once when it was crazy cold and it gelled but that obviously didn't introduce air so when it warmed up it was fine. I can't imagine this truck will be happy. Hell, dumping in 5 gallons may not even be enough to get the pickup fully submerged so you may not even be making progress when you start cranking.I had to bleed the injectors on a friend's diesel pickup once.
