No insurance, fake license plate, flee from police street racer caught and charged. They're not so cool after all, I guess

After conviction, there should be (but probably won't be) huge consequences. Punished before conviction is not ok with me. Lots of dirtbag police out there still. If you are doing a burnout on a project bike in your driveway (or a cop says you were), you could get most of those tickets too. A JP adds a sober second look (hopefully) before meting out punishment.30 days in the hole isn't enough. Lock him up.
The pizza delivery guy who hit me on my bike when he had a suspended license, no insurance, and expired tags had his license reinstated from the first suspension between being charged and going to court, and got away with his license intact. Didn't even receive the minimum stated fine for the no insurance charge. The Crown clearly didn't want to bother with an actual trial and plead him down. This after I was taken away on a backboard and he had dodged police at his home, for weeks, after being seen driving again almost immediately after the crash, in a different car. I feel for people who make a mistake. I have no compassion for habitual offenders. After conviction, there should be (but probably won't be) huge consequences. 'hopefully' being the operative word. Do they really care or do they just want to clear the court docket so they can go golfing ?After conviction, there should be (but probably won't be) huge consequences. I assume that's looking for the sweet spot balance between profit per unit and volume. Justice takes backstage. The court needs to generate $xxxx profit/day. The faster you move the customers through the cashier, the more money you make.

Oddly, not the first time I've seen that. This reddit sub is just the gift that keeps on giving...
The driver, James Patton, age 56, of AjaxNo surprises here. Dodge Ram, suspended driver, fail to remain, released on an undertaking. If he has already proven that he will ignore the courts orders, why is an undertaking even an option? The system is very broken.

I'm not arguing for punishment before court date. If there is sufficient evidence to convince the JP that he was driving suspended, that should be sufficient to eliminate voluntary undertakings as an option. As a minimum give him a bracelet to wear. The driver, James Patton, age 56, of Ajax
If the media can drag out the past for Yaroslav Hunka, why not this guy?
Start with why he's driving suspended. DUI, delinquent dad, unpaid fines or???
What stellar qualities does he have?
What are the conditions of his undertaking?
Did he admit guilt?
As much as I would like to see his head on a platter my disdain for HTA 172 and its punishment before trial should also apply here.
