The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

Everything works fine if everyone knows the rules of the road (eg: RoW at a one lane section). The one on Side Rd. 8 westbound is tricky. It's on a hill and you can't se if anyone is in it. You have to creep up to the edge and be ready to scootch over to the right and stop. Eastbound from the bottom the tree cover blocks the view and you have to be ready to slow and move to the right. 3 people. Everyone knew what to do, and it was drama free. It's almost like there is some hope in the world.

And before it gets all kumbaya in Kilbride, I had to escape Milton first. Easier said than done.

A totally different situation: RIP driver and GWS cyclist.

Ace of Spades dump trucks speeding on Hwy. 10 with marginal to no brakes and that's Caledon OPP's priority.

$180x6 for 30 minutes of work is pretty profitable. I agree, on the risk scale, bikes slow rolling a stop sign in the country is pretty low.

Public optics:

Car hits bicycle that runs a stop sign and the car driver is a murderous heathen.

Car making an illegal left hits a motorcycle and it's the hooligans on motorcycles.

Used to be that after a motorcycle crash police would sit between Campbellville and Lowville, pulling bikes over for 5 Kmh over for up to two weeks, while ignoring cars/trucks doing 20 over in the same area.
