Chippie is either lazy or stupid. You can’t turn your TV on without seeing at least one commercial warning about the dangers of diving impaired by weed or opioids.

They would have build 4 condos in this space in OntarioNot in Ontario obviously. Can you imagine the carnage if they tried to install this here?

Building a condo overtop helps contain the noise from all the honking and crashes. They would have build 4 condos in this space in Ontario
I wpuldnt want to be a motorbike in that thing. Vehicles everywhere. Good chance you get run over if you go down.Thing about roundabouts , they know there will be sideswipes all day long but it’s cosmetic damage not T bones at 80kms . Way less fatalities

Totally agree about them being better for 4 wheeled traffic. But the number of pedestrians killed and or injured is disturbing. People are in too much of a hurry to get in and simply don't see pedestrians.Thing about roundabouts , they know there will be sideswipes all day long but it’s cosmetic damage not T bones at 80kms . People are in their phones. Stop making speed a problem, it is not.People are in too much of a hurry to get in and simply don't see pedestrians.
Speed above that of the surrounding vehicles can certainly be a problem.People are in their phones. Stop making speed a problem, it is not.
Didn't mention speed. It's the rush to slip into the roundabout when they see something that looks like an opening.People are in their phones. Stop making speed a problem, it is not.
Trying to cross right to left as a pedestrian is a short route to the ER. Drivers are looking left for a hole and then gun it. By the time their eyes are looking forward you are already on the hood. Now, to avoid that, pedestrians have to walk all the way around so they stay in the line of sight. Not ideal. Some roundabouts in BC installed pedestrian flyovers to allow safe crossing without screwing up traffic flow. Long way up for a wheelchair or stroller though (and an extra long route as ramp needs a lot of distance to keep slope down).Didn't mention speed. It's the rush to slip into the roundabout when they see something that looks like an opening.
I know you meant to type "on" instead of "in" But your sentence is actually very accurate for their behavior. They truly are "in" their phones..People are in their phones. Stop making speed a problem, it is not.
