Asking $16,000 because it comes with a used jacket and helmet. Dealers are asking $11,499 new.

must be te total amout owed with his loan interest.... thats what is messing up the values of a lot of bikes here, people paying 5-20% interest on something that they really cant afford, so they want to get the balance of the loan paid off and keep a few bucks.
in reality, if you cant put down 50% of your bike (which yes its a hobby but its also a toy) you shouldnt be buying it. save up a extra year then buy wat you can afford and avoid monthly payments.

You only need a shoe helmet on your shifter foot. You can wear a moto-sandal on your right foot.
It also comes with an alpine star jacket. Lindsay Vonn's perhaps?

So where do the flushmounts go with no bodywork? Flush with what? "Looks good naked" Liar! No full fairing bike looks good naked. The very best I've seen looked ok, maybe. If you offer full asking price, he'll probably throw in a beat up helmet and some nikes with hardly any holes.

I just had to know so I emailed him, asked if he forgot to put in all the upgrades in the ad.

He says the price is slightly negotiable. Lol

I asked him if "slightly" means -$6000 cause I found new ones for 10,000-11,500 at dealerships. Lets see what he says.

My husband told me he paid $15000 with the sports bike (it's not the regular ninja), jacket, helmet, gloves and fender el. kit.
So I put $16000, cuz everyone's a negociator these days lol
Maybe he told me the wrong price... or maybe we got ripped off.

It looks like the bike has been meticulously kept. This is for collectors or people who appreciate good Japanese bikes. You have to see it, but that's not unreasonable.
Sadly, he won't sell it. There is very little market in Ontario for well kept older bikes, people really don't appreciate the effort.
Most 90s bikes on kijiji are junk.

Another RGV500 for $18,000..except this guy took an arbitrarily "collectible" bike and repainted it god awful blue, yet still wants top dollar.
I don't get it, rare doesn't mean good.
