Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

I think if I had to, I'd pay the $780 000 asking price. It does come with electric start, headlights, and a speedo!

Lol. Either whoever he bought it from completely ripped him off and is unaware if the bike's real price or he thinks motorcycles increase in price over time.
 
Its that time of year again.. as bikes come up for sale before winter. The funny thing is that there *are* people what will pay the high price asked in some of the ads. Ive seen some 2010 models of a bike selling for more than the 2012 year model.

If someone buys a bike for say 12K (all up), then sell it after 1500kms they are asking like $11500 for it.. lol.. Just taking it from the dealership drops the value significantly.. maybe $2k at least I would say..
 
^^ what? I thought it added 2k minimum. Don't forget the charges for the owners financing and extended warranty too. At least that's what Ontario pricing reflects

I think what he means is that a 12k bike loses 20% right off the lot. Thats about right, but good luck selling a bike for 10k, as most people do not have that cash.
Take a 12k bike to a dealer, they wont give you more than 8k, then charge 10k, and get 12k with financing.

New bikes make no sense unless you dont have the money and need financing.
