Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Now that you mention it I have seen quite a number of PanAm's selling at pretty low prices, and of course some asking near what they paid.
I don’t think PanAms have taken any bigger hit than any others brand in their category. Prices for a ‘21 are 10k below original, same for a GS, and KTM.

Probably not, but a bigger hit than any other harley model that I can recall. Perhaps it's just a different buyer who's not aware of the "brand premium" he's supposed to enjoy.

Not a bike, but I hate these rip-off adds...

No way this seller doesn't realize its a cheap chinese knock-off.

"SC Proceed"

Yeah, "SC Pro" in the text says it all. Slimy, but still not as bad as the poeple knowingly selling counterfeit name-brand safety gear that's difficult to distinguish from authentic at first glance. Some unsuspecting rider thinks they're getting a deal on quality protection, until it shreds apart in their first fall. This should be illegal on a whole different level from the typical fashion counterfetining, but isn't as far as I know.

Motorcycle owners aren’t the only dreamers with their pricing set in COVID stratosphere…

And while I have a soft spot for this car, and have seen it on multiple occasions in Beeton (and yes it’s clean)….guy is out of his mind…or the buyer is a total fool if they pay this.

You can buy a decent 30000km Fiat126 all day long in Italy for $2kCAD. Shipping and import costs are another $2k.

Then you have a car that isn’t worth 2 cents in Canada.

Or you can buy a mint condition restored Fiat126P in Poland import it here and still he ahead.

Maybe they saw the glowing reviews posted by @Priller ?
I'd love to claim that much influence, but that one has been up for a couple weeks already. It's gonna be up for a looooot longer at that price. Some guys just fall in love with their own mods and convince themselves that they've created some kind of priceless artwork.

There's another one in Quebec that's been up for a while that's not quite as optimistic, but still overpriced:

Moto Guzzi (Griso 1200 cc Spécial Édition, 16000kilomètres | Routières | Ville de Québec | Kijiji Petites Annonces

Aside from what may or may not be an upgraded shock, it's just a badly done 'custom' that's ruined the class of the bike with some naff red paint. Like so many of these 'customised' bikes, it's worse than stock, not better...

Ugh. The wrinkly off-centre sticker on the front fender alone is enough to scare buyers away. If the seller is happy with that level of workmanship, I don't want their bike (unless it is fire sale pricing).

Nearly 20 years old, only 12k km on it, original owner...is this person dreaming at that price. It looks in really good nick but waaaaay over valued.
oh yeah....screen name is "Puke".... no wonder it's 1730231150194.pngbeen on the sales lists for weeks and weeks. Can't say I've seen a 250 Burgman in the wild.

I must admit I'm as surprised as this new owner of similar vintage 80 mph indicated. 800 British pounds for it...much more sensible price. $1600 Aus dollars $1450 cdn.
