Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

A man needs details. When and where.
2017 - I think, maybe 2018. Bought it from a guy in Ottawa who couldn't start it (leg injury), who bought it from another guy who couldn't start it. I changed the seals in the carbs and the petcocks as it was raining gas when the taps were turned on and it started 2nd kick.

It takes a bit of a process, but the key to it is the advice given to me by an experienced owner, "It's called a KICK starter...NOT a JUMP-ON starter. Left foot on the ground every time."

Ah, what 5 years and 300km can do.
That’s me always being late to the game, everyone wants $10k now and “I know wut I got”

It looks in better condition than it was, but I can't believe what people are trying to sell them for now. Given it's condition 4k was a fair price and if the same bike in the same condition were for sale today I'd pay no more than 4500.

I don't know old bikes but I do know that is too much asking.

If someone actually put 123,000 km on a trail 70, I want to shake their hand.

I think that price is crazy. Even if it was finished, I think that price is crazy. They should get a seat made and try again. Not replacing a bowl gasket? wtf?

What he means is, it just needs the carbs cleaned.

A fully restored silver mfg. plate Mini Trail might pull that. Might. The right buyer has to see it. This brought $4K+.

Didn't come across a overpriced motorcycle while browsing today but could not resist sharing THIS. From the price, to the sketchy concept, to the fact that it looks like it's actually seen a decent amount of use... I am amazed. I fear and respect it.

I don't think they understand the concept of a forklift. That has no forks.

You've never been to Welland?

It’s funny but original post was over 8k in mods…now it’s 12k in mods…

What’s wrong with it outside of price? Asking for a friend…
Clip-ons on a monster are not good. There is no room for them as the tank is not designed with them in mind.

He has also done some weirdness on the front to get this all to work. I don't trust that he has worked out the geometry in doing this.

Buying someone else's 'custom' work is always a gamble, this looks like playing 2,7 offsuit.

1977 CB360 - only $6500

-molestation is complete!
He also ruined a CX500 and wants $8500 for that one. He didn't bother stating in his ad whether he was selling certified or not. Outlook not so good on that front.
