Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

So same price as what i can buy it from a dealer? I haven't seen an used Scout Sixty or Rebel 1100 in the 10K range (the 2 bikes I am interested most as my next bike), and I dont think its gonna happen anytime soon
If the dealer price he gave was tax in (and I assume it was), he wants $500 more than brand new.

My first bike...10 years ago...bought for 1800, sold for 1800...and now it's 'worth' / is listed for $2300....

$2300 is not crazy for any streetworthy bike. Bikes do not perpetually depreciate like most cars, and as there will always be a market for bikes like the CBR 125 for beginner riders, it is more resilient to depreciation than your average bike. Also I believe we have objectively experienced "some" inflation in the last 10 years

18% over the last five as I just looked it up for something else. Inflation adjusted, that 125 is roughly depreciation proof unless they blow it up or crash it.

The skinny tired CBR125Rs sold for less than $1700 at one point as non-currents.
This example is a $1200 bike at best. Mileage be damned, the owner is on crack.
