Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

KV75 Challenge! Can you find a single usable piece on this? All for only $275. WTF are some people thinking.

The airbags he is selling are pretty nice too.

The fuel leak should be a stuck float or needing to clean the needle and seat. Oil leaking from behind the flywheel seems more annoying to fix. Cool little bike but condition isn't mint. I have no idea what the right price is but that seems high.

There's a YSR80 listed for $4500 in Ottawa, so the 50 is overpriced compared to that, at least.

From 1987 Cycle World: "It's Yamaha's YSR50, a street-legal, 49cc, shetland pony of a motorcycle with a suggested retail price of $999 and a top speed of 49 miles per hour."

R1 guy wants to trade for a classic truck of similar value. I don't think this is what he was hoping for but it should be what he gets.

BMW Phil is clearing out (theoretically) a lot of toys that are priced pretty high. Seems like a sale to satisfy the wife.
That truck looks fantastic!

Does being the "sequential serial number denoting a 49-state version and ending in 00001" mean that much more money?
Paid $2100 for mine back in 2004, sold for $500 in 2020, never dropped, but in rough shape, not ridden in 3 years.

I guess not. It sold for 4500. No idea on fair value but I don't think 00001 added much.
