Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

What are REPSOL lightweight wheels?
I thought Repsol sold oil.
Does the "fully adjustable shock" have ride height adjustment?

I hope the more intelligent people in here can explain that to me.
You know when they include labour in their cost estimate that they are cuckoo for cocoa puffs. It's hard to recover parts cost, labour is straight lit on fire.

As for "winner", they "won" "top ten finisher". Were there 11 or more bikes in the class? Trophy doesn't say first so I don't call that a win.

Has anyone that every ruined a classic bike asked a reasonable price before? Crazy asking price is par for the course when bikes are destroyed. I wonder when they will realize that these are just the next-generation of OCC bikes and sales price has nothing to do with what someone once was willing to pay/charge. I've seen far worse examples but I doubt this thing can pass a safety so that makes it almost worthless as it sure as hell isn't a good track bike.

It's pronounced 'KAFF', the E is silent.
Is that it?
If you take a euro single or twin from the late '50s, early '60's, strip all the crap off it, you get a KAFF bike.
If you do the same to a '70s or '80's or '10's Japanese bike, you get a "CAFE" bike

... sorry I can't see why you would call anything other than a euro bike a KAFF. The "Japanese invasion" was the death of the KAFF.
The whole idea of a KAFF was to "do the ton", go 100MPH, and you had to modify the bejesus out of your T100 or Atlas to do it... where you could go down to the Honda dealer in '69, buy a CB750 and "do the ton" on the way home... and the brakes worked, it had electric start and lights that worked... AND worked again the next day TOO.
In my mind a Japanese "cafe" is like celebrating the culture of France, by building a statue of Hitler

$600 for a looped paperweight? Looks like everything is broken...

Both wheels. Broken frame mounts (but its got a clean title! Lol)

As a partout, you'd struggle to make back $600, and all the time involved to do it...

At first I thought this was just a rusty, weird, crappy home built chopper with a Commando motor, but then I looked at the pictures.

I was right, but what is that grafted onto the side? My guess is it's some sort of electric starter kit but I don't know.
Anyway, $4000 seems a stretch.
