Stunters at L&L :)

Who are you kidding, tomorrow is high of 15 and will probably be around 10 for L&L meet time....Everyone knows stunters are pussies and dont ride below 20 degrees

Come on Johnny, man up. Go, do a couple of quick burnouts, leave, and we're good for another week's worth of hand wringing in the thread.

All down town or do you commute fairly far? And how long have you been riding?

Back in the day when I first started riding, I would ride every day no matter what the weather was like until the snow came....After a few years that slowly faded away...Thats cool if you never lost that drive to ride every chance you get

I commute 20km one way. So looking at 40km per day. Going from downtown to near the 401.
As for how long I have been riding. I've been on the street since 2008.

Its not 2001 anymore, only beginners run low pressure to help learn slow wheelies...Everyone I ride with runs 30-40 PSI these days....

If you ran 15 to L&L your wheel would be shaped like a stop sign by the time you got there

In my mind, it's still 1969. I'm even seeing hot pants and big hair around Ryerson, these days. The return of Ursula Andress

I was the same way. Rain, shine, snow.... Didn't much matter. When the BMW adventure touring guys tell you that you're crazy, for riding in the weather that you do, you know that it's true.

Now that I'm old(er), I like to be comfortable.

I love when the enduro club guys ride into the January bike show. 2 years ago I was helping a shop set up their booth on the Thurs, and some nut came flying in the loading area to drop off his bike for display, his face was completley frozen, but in a smile..LOL

meh, I'm still gonna do the occasional ride when its cold out. Always pack it up in Nov.

I havent ridden in almost a week, but that should change tomorrow

Too cold for a lot of people... I figured for sure someone would have been doing a burnout to "warm" up their tire... LOL Nope, instead they just ripped down lakeshore!

Johnny was probably wheelie-ing his couch at home

he is prob in jamica "...leave for jamaica next thurs"

Next Thurs, the one coming up....Wish it was yesterday, cause damn was it cold this morning...What a depressing time of year, getting colder and darker earlier every day...Strictly lot riding from here on

Do u offer wheelie lessons??

Do u offer wheelie lessons??

Do you have a bike that you wont be upset about when you drop it?

The only reason I dont like giving tips or lessons is because most people arent ready to drop their bikes. When someone comes to me with a bike they bought and setup to actually stunt, then I have no problem helping them trash it and learn wheelies....

Also if you want to come to our spot and practice without a crash cage, one drop and you dump your oil all over the place making a huge mess...Usually when this happens, people only care about their bike and leave the oil and parts cleanup to us...Unless Jackson is there, he will tell you straight up go get some dirt and clean up your mess....Even if your still in shock and bleeding..LOL

Now you might say but cant I learn without dropping it? Yes but there is a very good chance you will, at least 2-5 street riders come through our spot every year and loop their bikes...Last time I was at the spot there was some pieces of a GSXR scattered around, so I guess I missed another one.....

Next business venture: Stunter School?

Next business venture: Stunter School?

Nobody needs a school, the money you would waste on a school could go towards buying and setting up your own stunt bike...I think thats the best way to learn, get set up properly and just get out there and do it..People will give you advice if you come out setup properly, and willing to try...Advice helps, but nothing is more valuable then getting out there and trying it on your bike...

Same could be said for Track Days?

replace the word Stunt with Track in your statement and it's the same.
