Streetsville Sunday Rides

Well that was fun, I'm glad I got talked into the extra races.

Here's hoping everyone else made it home safe and unsoiled.

Well I got 4 outta the 5 races before the battery died on the GoPro, so I didn't get the huge crash. I did get video of me spinning almost everyone else out lol.
Huge crash? What did I miss?

all the bruises i think alexis wins that race

I'm thinking I'll wear my armor next time, then the seatbelts will fit better and I suspect won't feel like I was in a fight the next day.

Amusingly, it does take at least three karts to get one on top of another.

I still have yet to figure out where to put the username we created on sign-up, but at least if you put your 'racer name' into here you can get your kart number and some extra stats for all the races. (Exact spelling and capitalization as the race slips)

Are the pictures and video coming or do I have to link up on the Facebook?

Great vid.

Sorry I couldn't hook up with you guys.

Was there earlier in the day.....good times and fun rides. I was very impressed with these cars considering they were electric. Will definitely revisit again.

Glad I was able to warm up the cars for you. ;)

Very cool!
Great vids from the Gopros. I guess ya brought your own helmet with it mounted.
Kinda hard to recognize you guys without your regular rides:p

Did all the carts seem to have the same speed ?
How was the throttle response (full throttle or did ya have to modulate it at all ?)

We all brought helmets, why use theirs?
The cars were all very similar, despite some minor handling quirks and differences. Modulating didn't seem to make much difference for me, if the wheels were spinning from too much power they hooked up quick enough.

Close, you gotta stab the brakes sometimes to induce the oversteer and then try to minimize the wasted energy with countersteer and efficient lines.
