not to sure yet. not even sure what the insurance company is going to pay me. loved that bike. very clean and a somewhat rare colour scheme. dont even want to bring a bike back into this damn building. anyone know if a stolen bike will affect my insurance premiums? thanks

For me it didn't effect premiums only theft deductible. But that was after the second one went missing

They will wait around 30 days before they consider it a for sure loss. In the mean time find the super craziest priced similar year/model/mileage bikes as yours. Remember, when the insurance company tells you what they will give you for it, it's an offer, and it's negotiable. Have your three similar bikes handy and quote those prices. The insurance company will try and low ball you, but they don't understand the bike market in Toronto!

thanks i appreciate everyone's help. got the whole thing on tape from condo security. pontiac montana in and out in under 3 minutes. brand new building and the cameras are so garbage u cant even make out a license plate... the van piggy backed in to the garage and went straight to my spot. (6 parking levels with about 150-200 spots per level, i'm 4 levels down) so it was clearly planned.
The license plate will be stolen, no use even if they got the number
I don't understand why people still use analog camera systems, such crappy quality
Get some nice $150 720p cameras with WDR so you can actually see some faces and get some plates -Jamie M.

Those had to be the same clowns who sole my Ducati 1098 in August of 2010.
I lived exactly opposite you behind the sussex centre, Enfield Place condos. My Bike was stolen underground with a camera right in front of my my parking spot with 3 fat security guards obviously not paying attention to the cameras...The Van looked the same as the model you described.. The camera showed 2 huge black guys and 1 big white guy taking off with the goods.. The cops were pretty laid back and didn't do much, they only said they have the same van on camera that stole from other condo garages in the area...

That's exactly the same way they came into my garage,.. They also went right to my spot. They must have stalked me out before and seen where I live.

Add me to the list folks, 2007 GSXR 750, Silver/Black, with red race railz on the side (cage). Stolen from underground condo in Thornhill, Centre & Bathurst area.
Believe to be stolen during the day, but the police are going to go over the cameras tomorrow and I will come back with the further details.

Come live in Yonge/Finch or Yonge/Sheppard, never heard a bike stolen from here. Especially in newer condos, but my condo is 10 years old, there are 6 bikes down in my parking garage, 2 ninja 250s, 2 GSXR, 2 R6. I've been seeing them every time i drive past for 2 years, they are still here lol.

Dont be so sure about that.I live at yonge and Sheppard and it is popular for thieves. My 2009 zx6 was stolen from 4 levels deep in my underground parking last summer. Owned the bike for 3 weeks. The day I reported the theft the cops said 7 bikes were stolen in my area that day.
Sure there was a 2001 CBR 4 spots from mine that wasn't stolen. The hey is not to have newer mint condition bikes.
I now own a crashed and rashed 2095 gsxr 600. Hoping its not good enough to steal.

Stolen: White 1992 gixxer 750 with a sketchy transmission from the corner of Caroline and Eastern.
It has a goat sticker on the wind screen, and a Flying Squirrel decal on the front wheel fender.
I'm glad I neglected the clutch and didn't bother fixing that weird rattling noise it makes on the highway you stupid bastards!!!
