Standup wheelie down the 403.

If he falls,(don't tell me he won't)he brings all the traffic around him into harms way.A 500 lb projectile is nothing anyone wants to have to avoid on a busy hwy. That's why the MTO is so strict about commercial vehicles tyeing down loads in trucks. The rider is a tool.

i think its very cool wish i can learn how to do weelies like that when i get my bike....

Pull a wheelie on 401 to redeem yourself.

I'll also do it while I'm lane splitting, and make sure I wave to the riders going the other direction.

What oil should I use for the best wheelie performance?

not at 120km/h...at least 3rd maybe?

At 120 I'm not even at redline in 2nd

If he falls then the object is moving with the flow of traffic and not towards it. If you hit the bike at this point then perhaps you're not keeping a safe following distance. After all a modern car with 4 wheel disc brakes and abs should be able to avoid a sliding or tumbling bike as long as the driver behind the wheel is even remotely paying attention to what is going on

Lol...you realise you're arguing that there's no need to keep hands on the steering wheel while driving a car on the 401 right, because it's not going to hurt anyone as you're going with the flow.

I agree...the rider is a prime tool.

Nah.He's screwing around in what he feels is his sandbox to play in however he pleases. It's a hwy that everyone uses in many different levels of driving skills with lots of passengers of all ages.he needs to find a sandbox that he can play in all by himself. And then he won't be a tool.Just a stunter having fun.

Say you are the guy riding along on the highway and dude wipes out and hits you? Who is at fault then?

Kids are going to kids, but don't doubt that **** can hit the fan!

This guy rides better on 1 wheel than some yahoos I ride out of the timmies parking lot on 2 wheels

You're assuming the bike will keep going straight ahead....how many times have bikes ended up into oncoming traffic?

Also using a 'safety' arguement about keeping a safe distance to protect yourself against a dude/dudette doing a wheelie is kind of asanine.

What seems to be the problem? He's going with the flow of traffic, in his own lane, and probably more aware of his surroundings than all the cars around him who are on their phones, fiddling with their radios or eating.

BTW some of you should trade in your motorcycles and take up bingo if you're so concerned about other riders making you look so bad :lmao:

you're missing the point, i was simply saying that its not the end of the world scenario like wingboy suggested

wow, thats a special kind of stupid right there

Simple physics would dictate that the bike will continue in the direction its going...and if it goes to the left or right if you're following at a reasonable distance you will have no problem avoiding it.

Its not a "safety" argument as you put it, once again i was simply saying that its not the end of the world scenario like wingboy was suggesting...

Cool video

Anyone who owns a motorcycle and is uptight about wheelies etc, is a douschebag who should sell their bike and buy an apron and go make a sandwitch in the kitchen where its SAFE!

Simple physics tells us that the camber of the road, if there's a corner, road surface imperfection, whether the bike is laid down or still upright and perhaps wobbling all will dictate whether the bike will cause a hazard or not. Too many variables for me thanks!
