So.... Who's Riding This Week????

Re: Back On The Boards.

I feel ya bud. The ice in my backyard has melted into an enormous muddy puddle that will probably freeze over again in a couple days, so it looks like taking the bike out of the house will have to wait a while longer.

I'm not looking at a mud puddle thankfully as the path from the door to the fence gate is all interlock, The snow on the outside of my fence is gone, but because of the massive tree beside the fence, the sun just isn't getting into the backyard itself. I am contemplating breaking the shovel out to clear a path. WANT HER OUT!!! Still have to finish painting the saddlebags, but that is a one day project.

Re: Back On The Boards.

Hamilton to Port Dover yesterday.. Kinda weird being there this time of year, but a great ride nonetheless. Bought a new Mustang seat with backrest for christmas. couldn't believe how comfy it was.

In the Tim's lot, I saw you guys leave and head east.

I said to my gal the were two bikes the, one a cruiser (I thought a Harley) and I didn't get a good look at the other but didn't think it was a Harley. Did you get out for much of a ride?

Did you get out for much of a ride?

Nope, didn't stray too far from home. Put in about 100km. Best to stay on the beaten path at this time of year.

Anyone know if the city's response to the snow we got last night was to drop 1000 kilos of salt again?

Pulled her out Friday night... rode all weekend .. commute Monday n Tuesday n today I pu$$y out ... :(

Sent from phone

around 9 pm dvp heading south had some trucks dumping salt :(

Fml. Just as I thought that bout of rain cleared the roads... Another week to wait I guess. Must be a bout of snow en route

You don't think the fact that the weather forecast nosedived is the bigger factor? It's -7 this morning!

I'm pretty sure if it's going to be -1 by night on the roads, they will be salted till April 1.

Yeah.... Pretty cold this morning but still made it to school layered up... I keep asking myself why I haven't installed my heated grips I have sitting at home...

Still better than taking the YRT and taking 3x the time to get here...

****, same every year.
salt until the last possible minute this city...why not save a few bucks!
certainly in the downtown core, where there was no snow.
buzzzkill

I am going to answer this in the most un-research / un-verified form possible.. I think they have to empty the trucks and storage areas of their already purchased salt, so they continue to salt when possible.. might even cost them more to store it for next year?

I see your bike.

I'll start riding once I get my bike back...

This is driving me crazy!

Beautiful clear weather done here near the city. No reason not to ride down here.. but snow squalls and ice all over my roads last night and when I left home this morning (in my car. :( )
