Was a nice ride into Oakville, easy cause it's cold but also nice cause the cold holds me bake while I break in the new bike. Thanks for the ride Paul, next coffee is on you..lol cheers!

I went out for a short ride after the show.. Real short as it didn't take long to chill the bones :)

I find it interesting that in the fall when weather hits 10c or less people start winterizing their bike claiming it's too cold to ride. But in the spring if it's above 0 bring er out of hibernation.

Lol so true

True for a lot of people.

I ride until snow starts sticking or when it rains and goes below 0.

Hell, I rode last night @ 9pm to test the cheap $6 heated grips I got in -8 weather (or whatever it was last night). Hands still froze but better than without as it was just my finger tips... If only there were enough room on my handlebars for handguards to block wind... It would be perfect...

I also did have a bit of a scare as my key was stuck when I got to my destination... I think it froze in there. I broke my crappy keychain ring trying to pull it out. Ended up coming out after 5 mins after a bit of warming up and tugging(lol) ;)

Salt trucks out on the roads in B Town this afternoon.. Here we go again!
03/18/2012 - 23c. Anyone else out there want to punch mother nature in the throat???

Sit in the garage and do burnouts....put our helmet on and play need for speed on your Xbox. Mother nature will pay us back with an awsome summer for ridding. Just another week or two and we will be out every day!!!

how is it, that weathermen or weatherbunnies can keep their jobs, when they get it wrong 80% of the time, you and i would be fired.

Their job is just like politicians' job. As long as they show up and appear to do something, it doesn't matter what the outcome is.

Sadly, it looks like they're right this time....

You are by far my favourite GTAM poster so far this year

Because it's all a big guessing game. They look for patterns in both the current weather, and past weather to try and predict what will happen.

Take it all with a grain of salt; which you should be doing with anything you hear on tv anyways.
