Was out for an hour or so last night. Wish I wore other gloves though.. Finger tips were freezing when I got home :<

you wanna ride...... then ride..... no wanna ride...... DONT......That's it very simple no preach

but I can say I broke down today and did the dirty dead and loved every minute a couple of blasts and the odd wheelie thrown in for good measure

back home safe the sand and salt monsters didn't take gnarly nelly from me today :toothy5::toothy5::toothy5::toothy5: hahahaha

Got out for about 100kms today.
First ride I've actually enjoyed in >2 years.
Looks like it's time for a new bike. :)

I hauled the batteries out today, loaded them into the bikes, took the 250 (daughters) around the block, the took the KLR for a long ride sure was nice to get on the bike again.

ohhhhhhhhhhh maaaannnnnnnnnnnnn. Loaded up the battery, the kawi rolled over noooooo problem fired up like a beast, so since she gave me that justice I had to return the favour and straddle her for a ride. Beautiful day out, tons of salt though so really lookin forward to the street sweepers or some rain to clean this ***** up, then some pot hole repair would be stellar too.

:wav:

Decent ride today, other than almost having a head on collision with some jackass rider on ridge road. Tomorrow is looking even more promising.

I couldn't Resist....Knew today was going to be nice and planned on putting the battery backin and cleaning out the garage. When I woke and looked outside the road waswhit.....from salt. All of the melting was causing back ice at night so I supposeit was good of the city to protect us :)

Went ahead cleaned the garage put the battery in , wiped the bike down and onceI remembered to pull the choke she fired up as well as the day I put her away.Road her down the block staying out of the salt piles. tomorrow it is supposedto rain hard then another week of cold.....Soon

It has been a long winter!

I got out for a short hop. Bike (04 zx10r) did not get through the winter well. Blown fork seal, leaking water pump, and I have to go back into the engine and re-do something that I've apparently done wrong. Arrgh. Fortunately, I have two other bikes to ride.

Saw a few out today. Had a local cop tail me for a bit. The new D&D is a tad bit on the obnoxious end of noise level for my taste. Not sure if I'm going to keep it. Need to get out for a good rip before I really decide.

One thing for certain, every kid I encountered LOVED IT!!!!!

Beautiful day for a ride, put about 100km on her today. Lesson learned though, do not forget to do up pouches on your tank bag, its never fun seeing your phone hit the pavement at 130 when your leaned over taking a corner :(

Ohhh no!! I almost had the same thing. I Ran out the door all excited, through my insurance and license in my jacket pocket, to see it almost fly out as i was hitting the hwy! Caught it just in time though, zipped er up and on my way!

I try making it a habit to check all pockets are zipped. I think I check them too much now because I almost lost my phone once.

You mean... You were going 100 right? ;)

Just got back from Markham outdoor power after buying a new helmet with a faceshield. Was kind of surprised that the faceshield didnt shift from my body as I had nowhere to put it so I put it in my jacket under my arm.
T'was a good 1h 30m ride.

i made it out for about an 1 to 1.5 hrs yesterday after work. Today my wife came home and said lets go for a ride. We went for about 3.5 hr ride and one stop at Timmy's to get a hot drink. She hates the cold but had a good time. If tomorrow is ok she is all ready talking about going for another run.

Passed a few bikes along the way. No ice to be found on the roads, only a little bit of salt on the road at stop signs. Tomorrow calling for 12 degrees. Feb. was the only month I didn't get it out for a ride.

I was gonna ride to work this morning but when I got home lastnight the bottom of thd drive way was a sheet of ice so I figured It wasn't a good idea but ill go out after work today :)

I've been getting on and off the driveway drifting for the whole past 4days, multiple times a day =)

It's uphill too lol

Maybe I'm just lucky? I've taken mine out a few times in -6 to +2 weather for 40 minutes to an hour. I'm using stock tires (BT016s) and haven't slid yet. But I have felt a fishtail once or twice from accelerating too hard on a straight.

What you riding now ?

Buttoned up the last of the winter mods today and got out for about 150k. Loved it.

Installed an easy start 9v kit in my 280 Ossa today and did a bunch of figure 8's and little wheelies in the driveway this aft.First time on a dirt bike in 35 years.Yeeeeehaaaaa!!!!

Was out yesterday for about 100km, Burlington / Oakville area. Saw a lot of bikes on the road!
Perma grin the whole time! Will be out again this afternoon if the weather holds....

Now that's a proper motorbike.

It's already warmer than it was yesterday but those damn clouds ain't helping.

This morning I was on my way home from Canadian Tire in Pickering and I saw a new orange GSXR pulled over by the cops on Notion Road.
Bad way to start off the season,I hope all was OK.
I will wait a few more weeks myself before I start riding again.
Later
Bosley
