should I mix?

I do have some peace of mind in knowing that I probably won't die from COVID (fingers crossed)
According to my moms friends she will die within 3 months. Apparently the vaccine kills you quickly after taking it. How I wish I was in that room to call her an idiot to her face (not my mom).

Does this mean millions of people are dropping like flies and we don’t know about it?

ONLY reason I decided to go ahead with it was because of a strong indication for the same from senior management @ work...didn't want to compromise my employment status in any way.
And that was after seeing a lot of close friends/family taking the shots with no side effects.
You may have little muscle soreness for 24 hours and then it subsides.

This is the the first injection I've gotten in almost 15 years...the closest thing to medication I've used was probably some disinfectant like Dettol or Hydrogen Peroxide for cuts since I was 20.

Hopefully this pandemic dies down soon because I am not a fan of needles to begin with and cannot see myself going in frequently for annual shots :-(

Now with all this talk about another variant from Peru...it looks like this is just another virus we will need to learn to live with.
Society has to return to normal soon!
I took both Pfizer shots and ended up with a pulmonary embolism. I'm not sorry I took the shots.

I got Pfizer first, then a Moderna second dose a couple of weeks ago. I haven't turned into a crocodile or anything yet.

I think people shopping around for vaccines and worrying this much about it will probably be viewed as silly down the line. Vaccines seem to always push buttons but I imagine the reality will be more boring. No crocodiles, no superpowers, just some immunity that works fine and is OK. I've written my take on the internet now so I can eat **** if I'm wrong and die because of my mixed vaccine
I got AZ the first time. No AZ available and likely none ever will be. I'm not a fan of mixing but I think that is lower risk (and less impact on what I am allowed to do) than sticking with one shot. Got pfizer a minute ago. Based on what I could find, team Astrazizer is the best path forward from my swamp.

FWIW, my wife got double pfizer at less than double the recommended interval. Even if there is a negative outcome to this govt screwup, it shouldn't take us both out (unless pfizer has something horribly wrong with it).

Several countries in Europe are giving a MRNA vaccine as the second dose after an AstraZeneca first dose.

No one knows how international recognition of vaccination status is going to work.
Correct

But no one of significance

I wouldn’t mind going the AZ-AZ-Pfizer route when availability comes.

Yup. But I’ve heard the same from the older generation how it’s all a conspiracy, we’re all going to die from it etc etc etc. I shake my head and walk away.

The older generation may not have cornered the market on stupidity.

Heard some pretty dumb stuff come out of the mouths of young people.

Just sayin'...

Now you are trolling! I didn't mention any numbers regarding your previous post.
Only my disdain for more discussion with you. More trolling will have consequences for you.

Those were my cocktails too. I'm still breathing.

A young & fit guy working at our plant suffered a bout of myocarditis after Phizer, initially they thought he was having a heart attack. It cleared up inside 12 hours and he's all in the clear with no heart damage.

refused the first appointment a few days agao, where they offered me Moderna and looked at me like I had 2 heads,

found another place today that offered Pfizer to complement my first shot.

As far as I can tell, Pfizer is the most advanced in this covid fight. I hear they are on the cusp of being the only covid maker to be officially FDA approved?

FWIW, provincial vaccine clinic I went to today had only Pfizer for shots today. Not sure how many they administer but by the size of the operation, I am going with many thousands.

EDIT:
Much better experience for me with Pfizer than AZ. AZ had me shaking uncontrollably. Pfizer I was tired, my arm felt like I was punched and I was a bit off for a couple days but that was it.

WHO released a warning against vaccine mix and match as there was very little study or evidence. WHO's poor handling at the beginning of this put them in with NACI in my mind and I ignore what they say as obviously science is well down on their list of priorities (politics, money and cultural sensitivity are all much higher in their priority list regardless of what BS they spout). I don't like mix and match vaccines but all of our theoretically "science" based sources of information just spout political crap and they should be disbanded.
