You know, if you didn't type woot it might take us more than 3 posts to figure you out.

Backing up your bike with Braketech rotors is always kinda scary... sounds like the calipers are coming apart.

I didn't think I'd notice a difference between the Galfer wave rotor and the iron Braketech rotors, boy was I wrong! When I buy rotors for the new bike they'll be Braketech irons.

tell me more....I have galfers now...

Yep the braketech iron rotors are leaps and bounds ahead of the galfers.

Hey Ninja experts, I've been looking for tank sliders for my 2007 ZX-6R and they're not nearly as easy to find (have found some) as they are for 09+. Is the 07/08 not at as high a risk of tank dragging fireballing as the 09+ ? If it's not a huge risk I might not get them for now. Thanks!

I had an 08 zx6r (same bike as the 07) with how thin the profile of the tank is, I wouldn't worry about it as long as you have frame sliders.

When I got hit from behind at the traffic light and the bike was dragged on the ground by the ****ing minivan, the tank was untouched

Ebay UK might bring them up.

Cool, that's what I was thinking by looking at the bike. I have frame sliders and bar end sliders (assuming the bar survives) which should keep it safe.

Ouch!

I have found some, but because they seemed so rare, and not so cheap I thought if it's low risk with my bike I'll put the money towards other crash protection.

I was using them with ferrodo xrac pads, a brembo 19x18 and could easily lift the rear of my Gsxr 1000 with one finger. With the galfers I had more feel but definatly less bite.

Back on topic, Ohlins fork extenders are on my list.
****ing GSXR's!

You don't really need them, though it is sketchy looking at them that low. Just drop the front forks 5mm into the triple. Sharrard told me to do that.
