Shopping list for 2014 track season

I just installed one on my zx10. It took me 15 min to remove the housing, cut the nubs from the inside, loosen the cables and reinstall everything. Substantial difference and I hope it's not too touchy now, a 600 you see wot much more than a real bike.

LOL... real bike. I thought I just upgraded to a real bike from my SV. ;)

For me loosening the cables wasn't enough, I had to do this

I love mine! Used it on my '04, put it on my '10 as well!

I have one on my dads 04 and it sure woke that bike up but sucks for trying to maintain a constant speed, just wants to accelerate all the time. Maybe that will help drop some lap times lol.

Haha, well I rode an SV for the first time at the last round and it seemed like the same difference as going from my 1000 to the 600 in terms of acceleration.

That looks like it isn't too bad though but more tedious for sure. I forget how I had to do it on my 04 but in know I had to make an adjustment at the throttle bodies.

I need to get a brake guard, number plates (have numbers but no white plate background) and might need some safety wiring. The bike I bought is safety wired but I have to go over it to see if all of SOAR's standards are safety wired.

Shopping for 2014 is complete.
Pink wheel stripes: check

Sweet! My red ones are faded but I'm too lazy to spend hours trying to get them off the track bike. Any thoughts on just putting the new ones over the old?

Just use a heat gun and peel them off. It took me 15min to remove the oem ones off my bike.

Your going to need a residue remover like goo gone. The old ones are hard to get off.
