It depends on the girl I guess. I find it incredibly empowering. I don't wear 6" heels because I can't walk in them. But if I am going out and I could walk in them I would. When you feel like you look good, you act super confident and it shows. Plus it makes the booty bounce when you walk. I wear them for me, not for anyone else. But I am a bit older, maybe that's why.
They make you feel good because you feel attractive, and attraction by definition requires someone elses interest or pleasure... so the whole "I do it for me" thing is completely bogus. You wear it so that you appear attractive to others, and that's what gives you confidence. If nobody was around to look at you, you wouldn't walk around in such ridiculous footwear and that's a fact.
Now, if you find comfort and confidence in being looked at as absolutely nothing more than a sexual object (like a stripper, or a hooker) then all the power to ya... :lol:

Everyone likes to look their best. When you go out in public and you look put together and walk with confidence people listen to you, want to speak with you and respect you more. I feel like I command the attention I deserve when I am dressed to kill. How I feel inside is directly represented in how I dress myself. Yesterday a man who I just met one other time asked me to choose which 500k condo unit he would buy and how much off the list price he should negotiate for and then thanked me for helping him. I don't know anything about condo's and I was just looking to buy myself. I had on a white blouse, a grey pencil skirt and 5" peep toe snake skin platform heels. If I was wearing jeans and t-shirt he wouldn't have cared to hear what I had to say.
