Scotch anyone?

Just sipping on this .. Figured it's good remedy for a sore throat :-)

anyways my feed back on this is.. Tastes good.. Extremely similar to JW Black.

Update in this.. It's actually very good has a "light" entry and finishes strong with lots of flavour

I'm thinking i'll just go with the superstition next and go up the jura ladder lol
I drank half to myself in probably a week and a half (quite soothing after ****** work days) and a quarter just disappeared after our last turkey dinner saturday.... so im thinking ill be shopping for some right after xmas

What do you guys think?

My kit is:

Johhnie walker black
Glenlivet 12
Glenfiddich 12

These are my bread n butter scotch. They don't break the bank and taste good. It's a matter of choice and there is guys on this thread that know scotch better then me.

I have an Oban 14 yo that I was bought as a present and a Glenlivet master distillers edition, Tomatin 12 yo and McClelland Speyside to play with for Xmas. I was going to plough into the Oban until I saw how much it cost....I shall sip it. The Tomatin is interesting and the McClelland is a bargain but seems slightly "watery" compared to the others.

Jura Superstition & Prophecy are top-notch stuff.
Perfect, cant wait to finish this one then :P

Not very strong IMO, extremely smooth. Notes of toffee and nutinness.... also had a great after taste, highly recommended!

Just got a $150 LCBO gift card from work.
Wonder what im gonna treat myself to :D

Perhaps this for $180?

If you like Lagavulin you'll like Laphroaig

That's what gift cards are for! Buying things that you wouldn't normally buy - I dig your approach. Do it.
Haha thats it! I feel the support buddy! Heading to LCBO on my break :D Have to find one that carries it. Apparently not all LCBOs have this one!
