Thanks bud I will be taking care of that tomorrow as he's out of town until then. Was good meeting yourself and a few others. Pretty bummed that I wasn't able to track but better it happening off the track than on.

Hope to see you guys again at another track day.
 
Who got pix and/or video? I got one session on cam... four good laps and one really crap one. LOL

My buddy's not so happy... crashed the bike twice, the rearsets are trashed and the birdcatcher is bent pretty bad. His Tokico calipers seized up when they got hot, took a second crash to figure out that they weren't going to co-operate... we had them apart and cleaned them all up, lubed them, etc. but 14 corners later, WHAM! down he goes like a sack of rats. That's the second friend I've had crash recently because of seizing Tokico calipers, so I'm going to get myself a rebuild kit for the stupidbike and then shop for some monoblocs. Screw that.

I think I'll be doing the same, but to 04-06 R1 calipers, seen it on a couple of "Wally" bikes, and I'm told it works very well.

BTW, I WTB some 04-06 R1 calipers, anyone got any?

Yep, they do work well. If it happened to me (seized caliper) at my pace in the red group, serious #$%^ would be the result. :/

Got a chance to ride with TLDeano for a session. The boy likes to go right out of the barn gates, for sure. Unfortunately that was the only session we were close enough on the grid, I guess. Anyway, good time/quote/. Yes great days at bogie! Lol yes, I go right away cause I don't get faster as I get tired so earlier the better for this old guy!
I dont ride there enough but I love it when I do. I played with tires and springs etc, and dialed a few things in and learned a few things, everything is better than ever except my muscles, ouch.

I would be looking at the master cylinder very closely. I had my brakes lock up, nothing to do with the calipers. Bikes been crashed a couple times there's a good chance it's damaged.
 
Yep. Sharrard has the calipers and master right now for rebuild.

My uber crappy video from late session. I'm sort of embarrassed about my braking points, just could not get my head around them all day. Maybe it was the 2 hours of sleep I got, maybe I was just having an off-day in general. Anyways.........

Nice to meet you too! I complain a bit too much, I wasn't down into the low 2:10s where I wanted to be but I did take a peek at that video above for literally 30 seconds and saw what looked to be a 2:15, so I guess that wasn't embarrassing at least. :confused: Thanks for posting the picture.

One of these days, maybe I'll catch some quality laps on video. Usually I put the camera on mid-day thinking I'll catch my good laps but I'm tired and make mistakes. Very good for making notes on what to do / not to do in the future, though.

Come on people post all or video and pics. Its awesome to watch the different lines. Great two days only a few crashes. First time at bogie. Got into low 118s. On my street bike fun wow!

Most of the pics I took are of people I know. There are some on here that never bothered to say "Hi" to the only chick with the big azz camera and black dog...oh well, no pics for you guys! :p
