Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

Saw Riddick today. If you saw Pitch Black, replace aliens that can't come out until it's dark with aliens that can't come out until it rains and yea..... Riddick.

Redemption. Statham. It actually has a good story line.

Just watched The Croods. Way more of a kids movie than say Shrek. Colour and quality in 1080p is insane, great soundtrack too. If you got kids this is a great movie for them, happy ending too.

Here is a few good UK movies I watched recently, innit?

Wild Bill ( 2011 ) - Out on parole after 8 years inside Bill Hayward returns home to find his now 11 and 15 year old sons abandoned by their mother and fending for themselves.
Kidulthood ( 2006 ) - A day in the life of a group of troubled 15-year-olds growing up in west London.
Adulthood ( 2008 )- Sequel to Kidulthood - Six years later
Shank ( 2010 ) - An action film for the youth generation, set in a decaying future London. A gang set out on a chase to avenge the murder of one of their own.

So basically a chavaganza?

^ Innit bruv? BRRRRAAAAPP!!! ;)

Almost forgot...

Anuvahood (2011) - There's a wasteman on every street!

Just watched "the World's End".

Weird, quirky, bizarre but engrossing.
The wife and I had a good laugh with it. Fun movie. Just stick with it through the first quarter and see where it goes.

All three movies in the loose trilogy are like that; sit for a while and wait for the big reveal.

Not to be confused with "This is the End". Weird, quirky, bizarre and garbage. ;)

^ I think you are referring to 'After Earth', I watched that at the theatre with my son. Ok for a kids movie.
'This is the End' is starring Seth Rogen, not so good for a kids movie ;)

Ahhh yes yes, was After Earth. I will check out This is the End and Worlds End, lol.

Jobs was lame. Not worth the time or effort.

This is the end wasn't that bad, but the ending was crap.

"This is the End" - A bunch of B-list actors having a public circle jerk.

I wanted to like it. Really, I did. All that I can say is "meh" and I'm a fan of the previous two. Seriously, at one point the only thing going through my head was, "Flash! AAAAA-AAAAAAH!"

Ironclad, on Netflix. Thoroughly enjoyed it, was pleasantly surprised... if you enjoy medevial era castle sieges, hack and slash type violence, give it a shot. Acting was pretty solid too despite there not being a whole lot of A list star power in the cast (but definitely a lot of familiar faces)
