Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

I didn't enjoy Iron Man 3. I think it was rather lackluster.

Enjoyed Star Trek. Really well done and acted. Did not see a lot of things coming. Bloodlust spock is an awesome spock.

Hoping to see Fast and Furious 6.

Lol my buddy told me robocop was in the movie before the start of the show and I thought he was joking. Movie was sick! Will be hard to top... Man of steel may come close.

I did see this (The Place Beyond the Pines) recently - and I didn't think it was that bad.

Yes, sound is far from perfect, but I get that... I still prefer that than have another movie with chopper *******...

Overall, it wasn't so bad... I liked the ending, that's for sure (no spoiler here, no worries) :)
 
the new Star Trek. Thought it was a great! fun to watch
 
Silent Hill 2 - I want the 90min of my life back

Stand Up Guys - A geriatric spin on a cross between Goodfellas and Running Scared with Chris Walken and Al himself Pacino.. Not a masterpiece by any stretch of imagination, also has a pretty predictable plot, but still a feel-good arsekickin' movie with a top-notch soundtrack. Definitely a keeper

Agree, Iron Man 3 sucked. They took an epic action movie and turned it into a comedy. Disaster...

Can you believe Fast 6 was out playing all over Europe for 2 weeks now? There are torrent links all over the web. What has Canada done so we are the last on this planet to finally watch it in theaters??

Agreed, enjoyed it from beginning to end, it kind of left me wanting more but I was satisfied with the film.
 
Gangster Squad - Pretty decent rehash of The Untouchables. Wasn't blown away but its worth watching
 
The Place Beyond The Pines. Not a bad story. Sounds like something what could has taken place in real life.
And Gosling does some pretty good riding!

Seeing a guy cut a bike in half with a blowtorch was a pain...
 
Fast 6. The dumbest and the most entertaining movie I have seen in months.
And looks like Fast 7 is not that far away.

Star Trek Into Darkness:
Pretty damn entertaining (even with plotholes).

Ironman 3:
Ehh... not that impressed. I guess if you liked the second one it is worth seeing.
 
Star Trek Into Darkness - had a story line twist, so it's ok to watch. No naked chicks though, but with presence of Robocop.
 
Hangover III - lots of laughter and akward moments. Still not as good as the first one, but is worth a watch.

P.S. make sure to wait for that very special planted surprise at the end of credits... You are gonna love it!
