Me and the wife watched Silent Night last night. Itās a John Woo revenge flick with absolutely no dialogue. Not bad as far as this genre goes, very violent. My wife muttered something about āmy choice of film next timeā so I donāt think thatās a glowing recommendation from her. I found it a bit odd due to no dialogue but it sort of works but some might find it a bit forced/pretentious.

Watched the 4k UHD release of Gladiator and while a 24 yr old movie does not rival a Planet Earth II in crystal clarity, the overall presentation was excellent as was the complete preservation of detail even in darkly lit scenes.

You'll know in another 5 years or so when it starts to settle. A current picture of Madonna will give you an idea.
Watched it 3 times now since the release. 3rd time being last week with my wife and she enjoyed it also.
Sound was fantastic ....recall that from the orginal iMax release...bullets coming through that trawler...
Transfer was perfect - the kind of immersive experience I always hoped for......no buyers regret on that one.

Heck you can tell her you will watch "top gun" with her and put the original on... lol
