It was OK. The sort of OK that means "wait for D+", not see in theatre or pay for streaming (like I did). Pity, really, because I really like Iman Vellani's energy.
Bit of a train wreck despite 5 attempts at recutting it....spectacle on a grand scale but....
Watching it for the history as well.....Alexander was certainly something beyond mortals.
Pretty good scan tho maybe too woke for the time. They certainly spent big on it.
Amazing enduring historical figure.....needs a clearer picture drawn....
The movie is also crazy long ...has an intermission !!!???
Society of the Snow on Netflix. Spanish version with English subtitles of the film Alive. True story of an Uruguayan Rugby team stranded in the Andes for 71 days after a plane crash. Many die and some are eaten in order to stay alive.
Maybe don’t watch just before dinner.
Really, really well done film. Highly recommended.
Trying to watch The Marvels, my god it's terrible. As a casual super hero movie watcher I have zero clue as to what is going on. Nothing is making any sense at all

I think it's just the Marvel Universe where you have to watch 200 movies and series in chronological order to really understand what's going on, no one's got time for that. I'll watch one every now and then but like you I never really know what's going on in the big scheme of things.
Yeah for The Marvels movie you would have had to watch at least 1 movie (captain marvel) and 2 tv series (Ms Marvel, and WandaVision) for you to know some background. But the movie itself is bit all over the place. Near the end of Act II they start to explain all the pieces.
Started it and looks good but too damn hot on the deck to continue...will wait for late night.
That was realllly well done. Now I want to read the book. Highly recommended.
Up for an Oscar and deserving
I’ve seen other movies on the event but this one is riveting.
........
Reading the book now and did not realize same film maker for The Impossible – review
well worth the watch
incredible change in raceway safety over the decades. Many interviews with the guys that survived it..
That was very good.....learned a few things and astonished at some of the crashes were survived.
Reminded me another movie called The Racing Doctor I think - Isle of Man but cannot find it.
Interstellar - Watched it before but the last few years I've done a deep dive into quantum physics/theories and felt watching it again with some new knowledge would be fun. The physics in the movie is accurate and awesome if you know a bit about it.
