Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

Watched AVN (Alien vs. Ninja) last night.. Pretty crappy, as expected, but it had a few funny moments. The ninja-chick was pretty hot.. Jamie must be researching the possibility of her having a barely legal little sister

Watched Love and other drugs, it was a freebie to watch plus girlfriends turn...believe me...lol.
It was....a chick flick/funny,light hearted with a story thing.....ya you get to see Anne Hathaway nude which made it all bareable....its was alright I guess.

Just saw Hannah and it was a good time. Definitely not what I was expecting and it feels more like an artsy film then a big budget Hollywood action film. Check it out if you want something substantial and entertaining. The music of the movie is also of note, they did a great job with it.

+1 on Hanna. Saw it on the weekend, and didn't know anything about it. I liked the "look" of it in the trailer. It had a certain European stylishness to it, which I find attractive. The movie didn't disappoint. It's one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Although it's essentially an action/chase scene, I found it intelligent, with lots of fairy tale symbolism. The big bad wolf, the evil stepmother, the grandmother, and little red riding hood from the forest.

And it has my new favourite movie line:

"I just missed your heart"

Watched Shawshank Redemption after a few years...still a excellent movie...one of the few you can watch many times.

Stephen King is a great writer, I admire his work

The wife and I watched Black Swan last night.
Not my usual cup of tea, but I can see why it was so highly acclaimed.

Great portrait of someone losing touch with reality, and actually presented the balet in a light that didn't make me sleepy. And for those who need something lower-brow to enjoy, Natalie Portman and the girl from that 70's Show get superhot.

She dies at the end of the movie.

Watched Limitless a couple weeks ago... I really enjoyed it. Most movies I enjoy are the ones that get me thinking in a different way, or possibilities I haven't thought of before.

It was a pretty morbid story! Nevertheless worth a watch, good acting. Plus it was good seeing a lesbian scene

Paul was funny!!

It actually had a story line

Can't find a good site without 5 million popups.

Easily one of my favourite comedies. "Well isn't that convenient. For you...and the clock" & "If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball"

Man, it looks like I gotta ditch Rogers and get over to Teksavvy...

I'm watching social network right now and it's pretty good so far. But then again, I'm easily amused, so my movie reviews should should probably be taken with a grain of salt.

Skyline - Don't bother. Already in the waste of 90min category. Half-decent cgi, but other than that.. Total waste. Offers nothing new, weak story, weak cast.

Just watched Cool hand Luke for the 10th time...awesome awesome movie.

ip man not ip man 2 but ip man

Pretty decent one...

Now for those of you thinking about watching The Zombie Diaries, don't bother. Like a bad cross between Diary of the Dead and Blair Witch.
