Didn't and aren't all those countries trying to fix problems from within? Or I guess the Imperialists can run around the world playing high stakes whackamole using our middle to lower class families sons and daughters for the dirty work. Works ok if you can con them for a while.

The Jews were freed because Hitler lost the war for the Nazis, Apartheid ended because South Africa faced international isolation, Syria, well they're still bombing themselves to hell. There's more than one way to skin a cat. You don't need war all the time. You just have to know when youre seeing something that just aint right and be willing to do something about it. Whether it be dropping bombs or turning your back on a country.
 
just goes to show what a little organized protest can accomplish, even in a us election, i bet the fun is just starting,

time for an ins. run & ride, i'm sure lotsa folks will show up with a time & place

There isn't one country on this planet that doesn't have some sort of inequality driven internal conflict. Are you on top of Canadas' First Nations file? What if Russia or China placed sanctions against us because of that? Or invaded under that pretence but really just want our fresh water? Sounds a little queer doesn't it? That's because we've been indoctrinated to believe we in the western hemisphere are all that.

Can you expound on Canada's "First Nations file" and how it compares to, say, Saddam Hussein's treatment of Kurds in the north of Iraq?
 
I think they should abolish all funding for Canadian Indian reservations. If people want to live there they can, but not with government funding because it breeds laziness, alcoholism and corruption. It's time they joined the rest of the human race and lived like the rest of us. I would be in favor of a resettlement grant to that end. After that, no more government money. The reserve system is a leftover from the 1800s that never worked and causes a lot of trouble.

Easily said and I agree the present system isn't working but the gist of the post sounds like something Trump would come up with.

The problem with DT is his simplification of the issues but that goes for all politicians. If they didn't simplify the issues there wouldn't be time to discuss more than one problem. Secondly a lot of people don't think about the issues and wouldn't understand them if they did.
 
Glad to see this racism against blacks in America thread back up to speed and digging the broad strokes that enable my participation.
