Question for the males (it's about autos)

Like riding around thinking you're sponsored by Gulf. I wonder what kind of look that requires?

Look in the back of a Mini (or most late model 1,3 Series Beemers). If you find a spare, fax me.

Again, all you're doing is showing your lack of knowledge about cars.

I know nothing about cars fmj. You know it all!
Good luck with your selection of tires & ride quality in your run-flats

So my RR tire got whacked by a nail this afternoon on the contact patch and got the idrive message that there was low pressure.

No spare in the trunk and no run flat...how much more inconvenient can BMW make this? Even my Honda has a spare donut. But instead of finding a donut in my trunk, I found this nice looking package called the M Mobility kit....hmm looked complicated and a pita, so I proceeded to call SOS. Tow truck would only tow to dealer and being that it was Sunday afternoon, dealers nearby were closed so they wanted to tow me to an impound lot to store my car overnight till next morning. I wasn\'t comfortable with that oh and the 3 hr window for the tow to arrive.

The m mobility kit was now looking very tempting. So I pulle the kit out and the manual, followed instructions exactly....attached the tube and compressor and proceeded to pump....I see the tire inflating...success, I thought to myself...I\'d be on my way in no time...right after I finished inflating the tire, I removed the air pump and plugged the valve stem. Sure enough, I heard the loud hissing sound and saw the yellow liquid oozing out of the hole in my tire...air came out and tire collapsed.

Isn\'t this stuff supposed to plug the hole in my tire? Wth is with this kit? Has anyone had success with it? Just annoying how I have to get a tow everytime I get a flat.

It also didn\'t help that theninstructions on the kit itself were all in German. If I didn\'t have the manual in my trunk, I\'d be lost.

Reading comprehension?

"No spare in the trunk and no run flat"

Apparently one of us has comprehension problems, and I'm reasonably sure it ain't me.

This is bmw's facial expression as they rob their customer's blind

I love seeing those little Honda civic econoboxes with the huge rear spoiler...they remind me of an oversized shopping cart with a lawnmower engine, the drivers on the other hand is the kicker, they look at you with a dumb founded look in their head thinking that they have a real performance car LMAO!!!

I get revved at so much by these guys when I'm in my 87 trans am... Unfortunately it still has the original 305, but that's changing in the next couple months

I love the ones in Brampton who would do that while I was on my bike. It seems today's generation of kids need to put down the fast and the furious and actually try learning something. They learned 10 seconds once in 8th grade apparently.

My first car was a 87 firebird. I replaced just about everything on that boat. Good lessons. Who knows, without it I might have been driving a Yaris and done my oil changes at the dealer.

Oooooh, Did it have the cool screaming chicken on the hood too? That right there added about 20hp.

Didn't the firebird decals stop mid 80s?

That's a factory decal for the T/A & it's timeless for that car...unlike where you Honda guys like to plaster your econoboxes with NOS "Naaaws" & Stereo stickers! LMAO!!!

it's all been said before...

i personally "obsess" over my car. well i did for a long time. but my passions have shifted a bit. now they're on to bikes. it's just having a sense of pride in something. some people obsess about having the latest phone or gaming console or shoes. every one is different.

i think it's as long as you are having a healthy balance with your passion and your responsibilities, then it's all good. i wouldn't buy a brand new helmet over paying my bills. that's just dumb.
