Things are not looking good. Entire family is flying to her as fast as possible. She is under medical supervision. I don't like the monarchy but she seems like an interesting person.

Learned new things this morning. Apparently, Operation London Bridge is the code name for the plan that is enacted when the queen dies.

Charles has spent 70ish years waiting for his chance to be in the big-boy chair - he won't abdicate it; and that's a shame, as replacing 98 year old with a 73 year old will do nothing to bring excitement or energy or relevance back to the Monarchy.

The upside is we shouldn't be in the dark for long. The heir to the monarchy is supposed to tour the UK prior to a funeral. We will know the answer in days not weeks after QEII passes.

King George the IV was on the throne with Queen Elizabeth ( the queen mother ) , the highway was dedicated the her . Will not be seeing a name change .

Reading that Charles has been announced as King already. So he's waited his whole life for this...he's not passing it up.

He won't be a long tenured monarch I expect. But who knows.
