are you saying some one that likes chubby woman or some one that likes feet etc. at some point did these people not decide that this is their preference?
if not.. lets say what you and others are saying is true. lets say that you ate born that way.
so then is it only applicable to sex and being homosexual... what about thieves, rapist...OR i like hamburgers you like pizza i like harleys you like hondas...
are we all born with these decidions and choices or did we not make decisions in our lives to choose these. are we all born programed as to what we are going to like and dislike?
why cant a bank robber say i was born this way i had no choice in court a court of law?
why when a criminal from the ghetto says, i was born into this life of crime.. everyone laughs?

So how did you pick your preferences? Do you wait for a magazine to release their top 10 most beautiful people in the world and think "this woman is apparently the most beautiful in the world at this point.....I choose to be attracted to her!"
I usually don't like to get into my opinion on this topic, steps on too many toes.
I dont believe sexual preference is a choice, and I don't believe your born that way either.
I believe it is developed. This is hard for many to accept because people don't want you telling them they made their child gay....BUT its far more complicated than that, no one fully understands it.
To me, the only thing separating any sexual preferences is consent. If you hurting anyone or anything else you have no right to do what your doing....if not go right a head I don't give a ****.

i dont think it has anything to do with tolerence. tolerence can be had without being thought something is okay in school. a young child in grade 1-6 should not be thought all this. one can be tolerent without being thougt this sort of crap at a young developing age.
i wasnt thought it and i have no problems co/existing with anyone. you werent thought it and you have no issues.

i'm completely fine teaching tolerance for other people's ..."differences" as long as they're not thrown our faces and paraded around like some sort of circus side show. If more tolerance and respect was prevalent in our society, things would just be better from the top down.
When I start to have a real problem, is when acceptance is demanded of me. I DON'T have to agree with what you do or how you live your life, DON'T alienate me or label me as a bigot or bible-thumper with antiquated views because I don't embrace your "alternative lifestyle" and cheer you on with a pat on the back and say, "GOOD FOR YOU! YOU SHOW THE WORLD!"... forcing these kinds of views on anyone but your own children (and even then....) makes you as bad as the religious right

If you think shes sexy then you are already attracted to her without having to make that decision genius.
no doubt, i shouldnt be forced to accept blacks or asians either. they should stay home and be black in their own homes, not parading around being black in front of everyone. they did choose to be black after all.

okay here is a question. i originaly posted this thread as a heads up to what was being offered on the toronto education web site as a link and also to tell parents about planned changes to to the sex ed cirriculum od grades 1-6. with no ill feelings and only care for children
WHY do all the homosexual sympathisers or the so called tolerent people jump all over this thread and make me sound to be like something i said was wrong? am i not tolerant or not normal because i choose to protest this cirriculum? so its either i agree with this or i am a biggot?
there is only one other case where some one is automatically clasified and in the wrong. and thats when the "anti/semitic" card is played.
so my only choice is to accept all these changes in society and in this case the changes in the schools or else i am a homophobic and a biggot and after that i have no say cause i have been labelled
