Not everyone on all seasons is a moron driver in the winter.
I've made it just fine with mine in a 390hp RWD pickup. Sure, I've used the 4wd a few times but I understand it does nothing for slowing me down and very little for turning.
And with where I live, we get more snow more often, the roads don't get plowed the same and it's been colder than -20 most days. In December I was back home and was passing on the 401 while others with snows were in the ditch. Experience plays a lot in dealing with winter weather. Do winter tires work? Obviously, I know it makes a huge difference and will have a set next winter. Me having all seasons doesn't make me an idiot.
I see just as many horrible drivers with snows as I do with all seasons. There is an advanced winter driving course at TMP, more people should take that.
I think of you stay on summers and forked out the cash for those and keep them on in the winter you're asking for a bad day.
