Occupy Bay street

I loves my guns too but I have never even once felt I needed one to move freely around the GTA....

I don't cower behind a locked door and alarm system in my own home either...

Not saying you do but just adding to the 'fear' everything point of my post...

Not needed for protection or fear but you never know I just like the freedom of carrying it instead of worrying about every little place it's transported or stored and how I might be breaking the law. Give me CCW and it goes wherever I want or don't want it. Funny you mention locked doors and alarms. Due to my wifes occupation we need to be very aware of security so there's a gate,alarm,3 bull mastiffs and guns stored safely but nearby when we are home. Not paranoid just comes with her line of work and the potential for robbing or kidnapping

most successful people i now don't really set around debating the words problem on a motorcycle forum.

So you are a failure but I'm taking the day off? Actually they do and more because they are bored and it's instant entertainment and fairly anonymous. Success Or failure allows the freedom to waste time on the net unfortunately.

yep if you say so.

this might protest might not change the world right away, but if it goes long enough it will educate the masses

I do say so and keep pm'ing me if you want more car or other info! The last few pm from you I didnt get as my inbox was full. Going to work out,see ya.

So, I don't see anything in the news this morning. Are they occupying anything today?

I hear they're building their forces to Occupy the hell out of Toronto on Saturday. The two Occupy whatever groups are forming an alliance of sorts haha.

You know your revolutionary movement is doomed when you can't keep it in the news for three consecutive days.

Seriously, I regularly have movements with more significant impact.

LOL tell me about it. The most significant thing these two groups have done so far is trash talk each other on twitter.

Look at the recent poll turnouts. Quite a bit of apathy going around. Canada has never been that politically active...everyone's too polite to complain.

Yes, that's why I'd like to lead a protest group called "We are the 49%". Our slogan will be "If you didn't vote, shut the hell up."

Or maybe things around here aren't that bad?

Exactly. Drama queens want to act like they live in Ghana for christs sake.

The example doesn't even need to be that extreme. The U.S is in some deep doo doo. I can understand people down there being PO'd. That and the banking system down there was responsible for the economic crisis they're looking at. This may be an oversimplification of things, but the reason their economy went tits up is because a bunch of mortgage backed securities became worthless when a crap-ton of sub-prime mortgages defaulted; mortgages which were backed by investment and banking firms.

Up here sub-prime mortgages are backed by the Canadian government. So technically, shouldn't these idiots be occupying Ottawa?
