Occupy Bay street

So if someone doesn't agree with you, they should be shot? Can I be your friend? I agree with EVERYTHING you said :D
No if they just disagree with me they get choked out or arm bar'd, if they hold up other peoples daily life and cause destruction they should get rubber bullets, if that doesn't work .223 next. And yes you can be my friend

On the contrary. If the only way their situation can be made to look good is to compare against the living standards of people in third world or developing countries, that's just another way of affirming how bad things have become!
It isn't a comparison it's a wake up call to stop whining if you had 10 bucks and now you have 4 but your neighbor started out with 1 cent and now has a dollar. Stfu

Who cares how many died that wasn't your point. Your point, albeit wrong and hysterical, was that the poor countries are so oppressed they can't protest. Clearly they can

Not hysterical. Just pointing out that there are reasons why protests may not yet have taken place. The situation in Saudia Arabia is pretty terrible unless you're one of the right tribe but there's no protest there yet either. The question you should be asking is "do the people in these countries have a legitimate claim for a protest", not have they done so yet. The answer for those countries, and for ours is yes. If you don't want to protest that's your choice, but it seems from what you've been saying, particularly using social uprising examples from other countries, that you do agree. Once again...bravo.

Yes, causing inconvenience should be an offense punishable by death, Mein Fuhrer

I agree protesting is good in some cases but in the case of the occupy wall street it's stupid, misguided and a bunch of freaks

If it is, all the more reason to focus on them more instead of getting distracted by other things outside of your control.

Another good point. Waste your energy and finite time on being a spectacle for whatever reasons you have and think you will "bring forth change" but if the world is going down the shitter then you are just wasting your time trying to keep a turd afloat.

On that point I think a lot of this is ******** and just the latest in fear...

Weak minded people watch a video and convince themselves it's all doom and gloom.

Fear west Nile disease.

Fear the killer bee's.

Fear Avian Flu.

Fear global warming because the flooding will wipe out every coastal population.

Fear the communists.

Fear the North Koreans.

Fear the loss of oil reserve. (And go buy some POS electric lunchbox for $50K)

Fear the terrorists.

Fear your neighbor.

fear the influx of immigrants.

Fear everything in life instead of living it....

.....there is a thread on here where people want to CCW because they are afraid to leave their own homes without a gun...... in CANADA.

Fear the sonnythebull.....agree with the above except I would love CCW. Loves guns. Loves em

Not all fears are unjustified. You have to concede that. You can't lump everything together because you see them as wishy washy issues. Much of what you say has merit but again they are all individual cases.

These are weird times we live in. Not that long ago Bush Jnr practically stole an election under the most amazing of conditions and set in motion some of the most incredible policy changes for the world's only superpower that have changed our world completely. This has partly set in motion all the things you've been seeing recently on the TV and the Occupy movement is only a small part of it. The Arab Spring movement has made ordinary people see that they can effect change when before they had just lost all hope. I agree that the Occupy movement isnt in the same class as living under a violent dictator but the difference is again, a matter of degrees. At the heart of the matter is still unfairness. Yes it's naive to believe we should all be equal, but these people aren't all naive, they just want things to be a little less unequal than they currently are.

More like the planes flying into buildings changed the world.

I loves my guns too but I have never even once felt I needed one to move freely around the GTA....

I don't cower behind a locked door and alarm system in my own home either...

Not saying you do but just adding to the 'fear' everything point of my post...
