Now THIS is how you complain.

I have no problem with giving police a suitably stiff penalty, for breaching the public trust, as long as they receive the same level of support when doing their jobs. That doesn't seem to be the case.

Because one follows the other, right? So nobody respects or likes the police anymore... or at least nobody that knows anything about them other than vague feelings of requirement. I have a hard time holding my peace when I'm talking with a cop anymore, damn the consequences.

Yes, because one follows the other. Whenever this sort of discussion takes place my mind inevitably drifts to images of TPS officers trying to take drug house suspects into custody, while neighbours pelted them with rocks and bottles.

um, not quite, dude was not licencsed to operate that vehicle...as for blowing that stop sign because the sun was in his eyes, then he's operating that vehicle without due care...it's his responsibility...if he didn't drive in the first place because of his license, he wouldn't have crashed, and those people would not have died...

the article in the paper is the dude whining, far too much of that lately...

Yeah, because to get a bus license you have to go though a special course where they teach you advanced skills like; what to do at a stop sign.

You can't afford my rate nor would you ever walk into my office.

Apparently no one can, seems obvious you don't have any clients, seeing as how you have been on GTAM all day for a couple months now.

He's trolling the HTA/Law section to see who has the latest 172 infraction

Those of us who could might err on the side of caution after that pompous comment.

Perhaps we can get back to the topic, or something vaguely akin to it, and move away from the personal attacks now?

No self repecting professional would work for someone who shows them distain. You want go and grab a doormat, be my guest.

Yo, Tuggernuts! It's the Pecker!

catching people who are making left turns from the centre lane, from the ramp from Gardiner eastbound to Yonge north, which used to be a legal turn and is almost impossible to make legally, if there's any reasonable amount of traffic on the road.
.
Ah I saw this yesterday. Also people coming on Lakeshore on the middle lane, instead of continuing on lakeshore, making a left to yonge, this is a confusing turn and many people think that staying on the middle lane will allow you to take Yonge but for some reason you are forced into lakeshore again. Guess what, confusing intersection = $$ for cops

That's exactly what I was talking about. It used to be legal to make that turn so people like me, who have taken that exit for years, took a while to notice the change. It wasn't given a *NEW* sign, so it was easy to miss. Fortunately I was never stung for it, probably because of how early I come into T.O.. It's dangerous, though, and creates a situation that's ripe for causing collisions. There simply isn't adequate room to get over from what is labelled as the Yonge Street exit, to actually turn onto Yonge, since they made that change.

Miller. Pheh!

No, it isn't. He should be held to a much higher standard. So on sentence #1 he shouldn't have been sent home - he should have been put in jail. Everything from that point on is only turbo-relevant.

Put in jail? On what charge? Driving a desk while impaired?

Sure, why not? You'd like to see people put in jail for speeding. Sounds like a wash to me.
