North American International Motorcycle Supershow - Jan 3-5, 2025

Is there no listing of vendors on the show website? I looked and couldn’t find one but thought that couldn’t be possibly right.
Only on the Facebook page.
You need to scroll through their positing as they made a post for each major vendor attending.

No other official list.

If the list had on it, what we would all like, they would have it on their site.

Ugh. That’s silly. I did flip through their FB page but it seemed far from definitive and not sure if my favorite shoeshine guy or sausage maker is on Facebook.
I'm sure the Indian real leather guy has a FB page.

Would not be surprised is there are no shows at all soon. The splitting them up that happened a bunch of years back was the beginning of the end.

I think last year was a great year compared to the covid years. It seemed like it was making a come back. Now it looks like it is heading in the wrong direction.

It seems the same as last year. The custom bikes are has some real creativity. Couple of very cool bikes from Quebec. The vintage bikes are cool in the usual place and some snuck in here and there. 3:00 is a good time to be here very few people.
If you like religious riding groups, you are in heaven this year.
Neotec2 are $849 taxes in at Riders Choice.
But the highlight was meeting @cutekill[/USER @Evoex @shanekingsley and @Lightcycle

I agree that hall 5 was more full than usual. There are more vintage bikes at a vrra weekend. And more bikes in general at a motosocial event!

What kind of deals on apparel and helmets might there be?

I’m in the market for a Schuberth C5 and need a touring or ADV style jacket as the zippers on mine melted together . Or maybe a Ducati jacket I saw at a dealer that I can’t get out of my mind.

Riders Choice is doing 15% off on, including the Schuberth helmets.

I was looking at the E2 and it would have been $1055 out the door. While regular price is $1099+HST.

613 also had decent pricing on Shoei helmets.

$1055 OTD seemed too low (vs 1242 OTD), but the math checks out.

GP offers 15% off to OFTR members, and I vastly prefer shopping there over Rider's Choice - way too much attitude in the latter for my taste.

I'm interested in the E2 since some reviews seem to suggest it's a C5 with a peak, but elsewhere I've seen comments that it's much noisier.

I tried on the C5 and it was very comfortable when I recall the C4 was very uncomfortable.

But if the E2 is even a tad noisier than the C5, that'd be a deal breaker for me. My tinnitus is not getting any better. I have an RF1400 now, which is the quietest helmet I've ever had - but am hoping the C5 would be even quieter.

The Schuberth rep is at the Riders Choice booth and that's who I was speaking with.

He said the E2 is pretty much the same as the C5 with an additional beak, which can be taken off.
I asked how much noisier is the E2 over the C5 and "according to the engineers, it's not noticeable by a human".

They also have both helmets in the new carbon design but at a higher costs.

The pricing I gave ($1055 OTD) is for solid color model.

I wish there was a way to try on a helmet in a wind tunnel.
