No more license stickers…

I need to find my registrations for each car...ugh. You'd figure by now I'd learn to keep it all in one spot.
At least the trailer doesn't need a renewal.

Why do you need registrations? Presumably no more sticker to put on back. Should just need plate numbers and mileage.
You need the "permit number".

I seemed to have misplaced mine so I had to pay $32 for a replacement at Service Ontario yesterday.
Free replacement if you change addresses. Not sure if the system is smart enough to flag that the new address is the same as the old one.

Fair enough - but there is a part of me that enjoyed that. After paying thousands to the province for stickers for years. I'm not stupid enough to believe that they won't recoup it on other ways.

No stickers are long gone it's just the registration that has to be done every year or two

Shocking that they allowed one year renewal at all. More checkboxes on the form, possibly twice as many people that need to access the site etc. It's "free", just make all registrations two years.
