Yes his thinking is way off, if anything Marquez helped and Ianonne was the dick, but as zx600 said they all want to win and they aren't out there to do each other favours. You are wrong, when you are a competitor you compete to win

Senna said it bestYou are wrong, when you are a competitor you compete to win
By being a racing driver you are under risk all the time. By being a racing driver means you are racing with other people. And if you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver because we are competing, we are competing to win. And the main motivation to all of us is to compete for victory, it's not to come 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th.
The Moto3 race was extra nutty! Almost half the field out. Several guys going off the track from the lead pack only to catch up and be in contention a handfull of laps later!!
Thanks Johnscrusier for posting these!
Every racer is paid millions of dollars in salary and sponsorship money to do the best they can to represent the team they are on, the marque they represent and the brands that they endorse. In addition, there are personal statistics like how many wins they take a season and how many championship points they end the season with that will forever be recorded in the books. All of these numbers affect their future earning.
Exactly! Although top MotoGP riders don't get paid nearly as much as F1 drivers (which I think ridiculous) but they still earn a lot. Just watch the video below.

It is only ridiculous to people like you or I, who are fans of MotoGp. To the rest of the world, this only makes sense..... which is why it is all the more important to continue to promote this amazing spectacle to your non interested friends. Sure, 90% of them will not even want to listen to you, but if you get to a couple that is what we need in North America.
This is so true and that's the reason less of a fuss is made of Kevin Shwantz' championship than any other. To appreciate the significance of that one must bear in mind he's a Texan.
As for the race itself, I have to say it's probably one of the best ever. You can just sense the razor thin edge the front guys were on the whole race. Coming from a very fast street rider, that's saying something but I don't mind giving credit where it's due. I can barely wait for the next round.
Yea those girls were paid models to be there... sad
