MotoGP 2015

Not really, people just miss understood who the real shark was.

Yeah but it didn't work out and this whole season was a farce.

At this time more than ever the series needed Marco Simoncelli.. Imagine an Italian on a factory Honda for all this.

I'm starting to wonder if Shoei and HJC are rethinking doing Marquez/Lorenzo graphics on their available helmets..
or for that matter, I wonder how drastically Marquez/Lorenzo branded products' sales will drop off.

Did you read the last part where perhaps Marc was planning the same move but then Dani showed up. I don't know, maybe he was planning for it in the last lap. I'm not the rider, so we can speculate all we want. What I saw today was similar to what I saw earlier in the season so this scenario is not out of the ordinary for me.

And yeah i'm done for real. lol Clearly, we have differing opinions on this matter. To me, Rossi would've been world champ had he kept his mouth shut and not lose the plot in Sepang. I still firmly believed he would've won the whole thing after PI (before the whole drama). I guess he himself didn't believe it.

On a side note, Jorge needs to work on his celebrations. He comes off as smug and over the top. I cringe at times.

Yeah I read the last part. Here the thing Lator-illa. To believe Dani surprised Marc and ruined his plan, you have to believe that Marc had no idea Dani was closing in at 3-6 tenths a lap. Do you really believe that? I certainly don't.

I do agree on the Jorge part

Well Racer5 is clearing out their Marquez RF1200s. Although whether or not that's a smart business move or genuine hate is debatable

Something I always wondered about....considering how high priced/upscale the series is....pretty chintzy awards. A printed page for an award? Not even mounted nicely. I've dealt with awards ceremonies for some corporations before and at leas their stuff looked like an award.

I was a huge MM fan and have always cheered for him, but I didn't see his actions in PI and Sepang as normal. I also don't completely buy his explanation for his Valencia strategy. That's the most aggressive rider on the grid. Looking at past races, he takes chances---a lot of chances whenever opportunity presents. He's brave, and very often foolishly so, and that's his trademark. That wasn't the case in Valencia though. His recent fallout with Rossi may or may not be the reason, I am not sure, but I can certainly imagine him being influenced by the fact he's in Spain and how his Spanish fans will react if he does his usual and risk to wipe out Lorenzo or prevent him from taking the title. In that regard, it's only human to be cautious, I get that. Too bad I'm not Spanish to appreciate it.

Anyway, I will be cheering for Pedrosa next year. Despite being quite unlucky over the years, people naming him Iceman and all, I think he's the most down to Earth person among them, and I feel their personality outside the track plays a huge part in who I support and who I dislike. Anyway, the 2015 motogp subscription doesn't work anymore as the 2016 is already underway. Personally, I'm out---not buying the 2016 video pass. The only money I'll give to MotoGP is if I eventually go and see some of the races live. For home entertainment---I'll rely on our dear friend John's Cruiser uploads.

Rossi accuses MM of helping Lorenzo then b*****s cuz MM doesn't help him get closer to Lorenzo... EL OH EL

If a dishonest petty little jerk can influence the outcome of a world championship I can see how Rossi would be upset.

The outcome of this seasons motoGP title is tainted because it wasn't honest racing.

Ummm I don't think I was really engaged in the conversation was I? Nor was I planning to engage any further on this whole Marquez/Rossi/Lorenzo shenanigans.

Nope, i'm done.

1 day later.... :lmao:

Your credibility is waning my friend ;)

LOL. I was merely adding an additional article that was previously shared, not exactly my opinion. Stop watching me so hard.

"I saw no evidence that Marquez helped Lorenzo at Phillip Island. I saw every evidence that he did so at Sepang, but this wasn’t his prime intention, which was to mess with Rossi, who had insulted him in public several days earlier. Marquez’s Sepang onslaught went like this: so you thought I was messing with you in Australia did you? Well, check this out, this is what it’s like when I mess with you."

Thanks for the link. Above is the only point that I disagree. If I have to guess where MM messed up with VR, it would be in PI. He had the pace that weekend and last year he also led 3 secs ahead before crashed. What happened in Malaysia was simply a road rage, Rossi's head was already hot before the race even started. And from FP1-4 I know MM didn't have the pace, his lap time wasn't consistent and nearly crashed 3x.

At the end, no one will know for sure except the riders themselves. Btw I thought Honda would release their telemetry data yesterday.

Haha... just calling it like I see it :p

... joking aside, the article more or less backs your previously stated opinion; so posting it was not as innocuous as you would have us believe. Just my opinion...

Absolutely Rage on Rossi's part. But Seriously, MM was taking a piss out of him. It was only a matter of time. I too watched that whole weekend, and yes he didn't have Dani pace, but he certainly could have stuck with JL, at least within a few seconds; instead he got the hell out of his way and waited for Vale to arrive.

To your point about his nearly crashing. He does that almost every weekend. I think FP3 (?) in Valencia, he all but crashed in 8 and managed to save it. Commentators laughed and mentioned how it's so common an occurrence with him, it's no longer surprising. ....."Seems like every weekend he does that 2 or 3 times"..... It's old hat for Marc, so I'm still convinced Vale's version of events is the most plausable... and yes, I too am still waiting for this data Honda insists will vindicate their Marcie Marc
