MotoGP 2012

Crutchlow fought a fine fight.

Agree. Crutchlow did very well. I don't know what possesses these guys to race injured lol. Pure passion I guess.

I think moto 2 and moto 3 have been fantastic this year. Much better than moto gp IMO

...they also don't want to fall off the radar. Until you reach elite levels, you are a commodity and can be easily replaced.

It was an enjoyable race. Became a fan of Crutchlow from his interviews and tweets.... lol. But his riding has been impressive! Especially this past race, what a great push from him :)

What a great race from Pol as well, that moto2 class is exciting!

You're right. Motogp has become very boring, especially with Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa leading the pack. I ended up just skipping through most of the race. Moto 3, now that was a different story this morning!!

Moto 3 was nuts. Didn't seem like there was a lead group, everyone was in it. It was hard to tell even from the photo finish who took 2nd and 3rd. I wish Speed Channel would show all the classes in order on Sunday. Some great racing in that class.

I wish speed would show moto2 and 3 on Sunday, who cares about moto gp zzzz. ;)

Speaking of great races wsbk race 2 was also awesome.

Speed is terrible.

D'loading the Eurosport coverage is so much better. The commentary is very pro-Brit but whatever, still 1000 times better than Speed.

Tim, have you d/load last weekend's WSS race from Aragon yet?

Sofuoglu's antics on the straight.

Watched it Monday night. At the time I had assumed that something happened off-camera that would come to light later. It appears not, seems as though his 180mph body slam was in retaliation to nothing. So??? Neither Foret or Sofuoglu have really said anything about it?? Strange.... However, if i was in charge I would have imposed a larger penalty.

Just finished watching the MotoGP race......... Dramatic is all I can say.

Congrats to the riders on podium!

Now I need to watch the Moto2 and Moto3 races.

Has Crutchlow been offered a ride with factory Ducati next year? I thought I heard one of the commentators say that today. Also, everyone seems focused on Dovi v Spies for the second factory Yahama, but not the same amount of speculation for who will take Stoner's ride. It all makes sense if Rossi is on his way back to Honda.

This is for the guy who should have just taken second on his +10 second buffer....

Its assumed that Marquez will be taking Stoner's ride. I think they said that a couple times during the race too. An yes Cruchlow has an offer from ducati but it is, as of yet, unsigned.

Good race yesterday, good to see dovi getting podiums. Still really hope Rossi comes to his senses and leaves ducati if Yamaha offer him a bike. Lorenzo has already said he would welcome him back as a team mate.

When stoner crashed his famous quote of "ambition outweighs your talent" came to mind.

Here's a motorcycle racing podcast. I listen to it while driving or when out for walks/runs. Some episodes are better than others, but I appreciate the show regardless.

http://www.motopodcast.com/

Each week the hosts generally, take listeners letters, discuss the different classes of racing, and then do interviews of racers or other members of the road racing community.

Marquez and pedrosa officially announced for Honda in 2013.

Lots of fan hate from this announcement based off what I've read on twitter and Facebook.
So still up for grabs is becoming Lorenzo's teammate, where Hayden will go because lots of talk about Crutchlow going to Ducati..... Only time will tell.
And nice move by Dorna for taking away the rookie rule, very convenient for Honda and Repsol ;)
