MotoGP 2012

I understand that Rossi came in second.(good for him) But honestly would he be there is Pedrosa started from pole. Pramac Ducati is not the same Ducati that Rossi uses. Ducati's in Motogp have always had front end problems.

See all the Ducati fans in the stands? They sure went crazy! Rossi acted like he had just won the entire championship ;)

I'm happy for Rossi he needed that and hopefully he is more competitive on the M1 next year.

Defenitely he will be more competitive, but to beat Lorenzo...ahhh will see.;-)

It would suck for Lorenzo if he lost another engine.

I had a similar thought after Pedrosa's misfortune. He still has a chance if say similar problems started happening to Lorenzo that plagued Spies. Would of loved to see those two battle it out though. Happy #46 made it on the podium though. Cal's interview was funny after the race.

There's gotta be something going on in Yamaha with why Spies lost good positions in two races from bad parts!!! I think its a conspiracy.

Everything is a conspiracy. Especially when everything happens as expected, that's a sure sign of a conspiracy! ;)

Was a good races, sucks for Dani. Great to see Rossi get a good result in the dry finally. Laughed when the commentators on the bbc said wouldnt it be funny if Rossi turns the Ducati into a weapon right before he leaves. Hopefully Dani can pick up some more points and make it a battle to the finish, lorenzo just needs to borrow some of Spies bad luck.

Where do you guys watch the race? Just checked and Speed is not airing it tonight.

Edit: I just found they are airing the main race at 4am Sunday. Do they ever air the qualification practice? Anywhere else you can watch that?

I usually download all the qualifications, practice and race from racingfor.me a few hours after they finish. I love how utorrent can stream the torrents right to my TV, as they're still downloading!

Did Pedrosa let his crybaby emotions get the best of him and just give up? I think so.

You never know with racing... I was pretty damn embarassing to see him take a sulking "last lap" and pull into the pits. I'm not saying he could have won the race, but some points better than no points, he's faster than almost all of the other riders.

I would be supremely ****** and sore at Pedorsa if I was the team owner/manager..... pick your balls up and finish the race. You didn't win the championship? Too ****ing bad. Pick it up and ride, that's what you're being paid for.

He would have gotten a LOT more respect from the fans if he rode like hell and scoring something. I wasn't aware of any mechanical issues with the bike after the crash, so I can't comment on that.

He obviously wasn't going to catch up to Carl, Lorenzo or Casey. What would be the point? He will finish 2nd overall in points? There was nothing left for him to race. Why risk a crash or a malfunction?

The point is to be a man and finish the race... not a teeny tiny robot boy. There's always a possibility that Stoner, Lorenzo or Crutchlow could DNF for some reason.

Yeah good point on the others DNF'ing. I wouldn't blame it all on pedrosa it might of been his pit crew that threw in the towel.

I base my whole racing career on chances like that!

So by that logic he doesn't need to race Valencia... he should just DNS all weekend. I'm sure Honda and their sponsors would LOVE that.
