Mature sport bike rider group

Burned a few tanks, it's getting better every day. Looking forward to many good rides.

count me in!

Just found this thread and would like to get together with some of you ! . I'm not a crazy fast rider so to find a good group to ride with and enjoy a nice cruise, then I'm down !

Would like to join a mature group from time to time..... I like to go on spirited runs but only occasionally.... Don't like the strain/risk of it

I'd come out to some of these rides if you were coming down to the Hamilton area, also don't mind meeting up anywhere in Halton.

1 big rainfall that's all I want at this point. Just want to get all the salt and gravel dust off the roads.
Been out a couple times and the roads aren't too bad down here in Niagara.
Niagara, Hamilton, Burlington rides I should be in for a few of them.

Same -- at this point I don't know what is worse, all the snow and cold days, or these warmer days with enough crap on the roads to make a 'saltman'. Hopefully the rain this Sunday stays in the forecast.

Definitely interested in this group, thanks for posting. I will watch for more info as the weather improves. Hubby and i are SB riders (Honda 600rr and 1000rr) who like to have fun and have a desire to keep our license lol!! We are south of Barrie. Look forward to meeting y'all!

cheers

If, we've been riding S B's for decades & still here, looking to go out riding, does that make us mature?

Will be out this weekend (Good Saturday) first 2013 ride.

Interested in this ride(s) sounds like a good idea.

First Group Ride Of The Year Saturday! Spring Warmup City Run!

Hi guys, I don't think I can wait for the rain on Sunday as Saturday seems to be too good to be wasted. I would like to organize first group ride of the year. Since I don't know the condition of the back roads so early in the season, I prefer to stick to the city this time.

Here are the details of the ride:

Pace - relaxed. no more than 5-10 km over speed limit except maybe when passing - my first ride of the year so I will try to be very relaxed :)
Road - city roads with maybe a small portion of the highway
Start - TM at Hwy7 and Leslie Richmond Hill
Route - South on Leslie -> Lakeshore&DVP (may drop by the TM there if there are some riders from the downtown area) -> west on lakeshore -> turn back at a pre-agreed spot
When - Let's take off from the start location at 2 pm sharp. I will try to be there around 1:45 (black R6 + black Shoei helmet)
Duration - A couple of hours under the sun

The route seems boring but will be a good warmup after winter hibernation and a checkout of your bike. There will be many good rides this year so let's take it easy at the beginning. If you want us to pick you up at the TM@lakeshore&Leslie let me know. Feel free to ask any questions or pm me.

Hopefully I will see some of you on Saturday.

Ride safe. Cheers.

I'd like to join a couple of these rides...still too soon for me though, too many mods ordered and still in the mail lol. And with 4 kids its gonna be very spontaneous :)

this definitely interests me. I don't think age should matter though, more just how you ride. Having said that i will be 40 this summer so I still qualify :)

Heading out for a ride Saturday as well. I normally would make the run out to the East end, but want to work in tires before heading out that far tho. If there is anyone out Hamilton way planning a ride Saturday I would be in.

Stop in at leslie n yorkmills on your way down, a few of us will be there.

Will do. I think there is a country style there. I will swing by there.
