Mature sport bike rider group

I'm interested! I'm game for any ride. Keep my updated =D
It's always good to set a pace at the beginning of the meet and be clear that this ride keeps formation, communication, and speed checks.

I think it might be a little late in the season but next year keep an eye open to the "Still in the Game" group rides. I have been on some great rides with this group. I think equally important to finding people who ride with a similar style is to find a group that is not too large...... wait a minute... forget what just said... Ah too late now I guess.. See you next year.

Still in the game were great rides. Quick but not too stuoid and good group.

Might be interested...oh ya...I'm a young 53

Throwing my hat in the ring as well. I enjoy riding without having to check my mirrors for red & blue lights every 13 seconds.

I'm in if you ever head out towards niagara. Sunny is the only one organizing good rides out Hamilton's way. Hope to see you next season. I do like corners though (what's the point if you ride a sportbike and don't lean it?) so maybe I'll be disqualified after the 1st ride! :(

Did I say no lean? I lean on my side stand all the time:). Ok jokes aside, if we mature enough we should know what crazy stuff on the bike is.

Here is what I am gonna do:
If global warming helps again this year, we may have a couple of more rides ahead of us. I don't plan to winterize my bike any time soon. I will post on this thread if it happens. Otherwise, I will see you all next season.

Nevertheless, please subscribe this thread for future notice. In the mean time, keep safe and keep riding.

sounds like a great idea, I've got the age angle covered (54), not sure about the sport bike though, I am more of a sport-tourer but I think I will be able to keep up...I'll watch this thread as well.

Ride with these guys then:
BrianP
Paul
Outtacontrol
Booya
Schraeder2
Quantumblueguy919
NEWMAN
Killerkeith
Twostroke
....etc....these guys all are responsible, don't behave like idiots, don't generate heat, and have the skillset that makes riding with them non worrisome. You can count on having fun, expolring good roads, and everyone making it home.

Sounds like a good idea. I can totally see how we can use the time during breaks to share strategies how to manage midlifecrisis when you already have a sport bike....but without talking about banging the chicks (sorry ladies).

Subscribing to this so post something next season.

Best of luck. I've ridden with guys in their 50's and go balls out. Waaay more than i can bargain for. So dont be surprised if u meet a guy in his 50s doing wheelies

Sent from my tablet using my paws

you almost sound like you are referring to a guy that has a dislike for newbs, 250's or anything less then a sv650 :p. I have never met the mystical figure but rumour has it physics doesn't apply when rotational mass meets a bend in the road

Hahaha, that's one of em. I'm not calling names.

If u go to enough rides, you'll probably know its the 40 yr olds who rip it up, lol

I'm 19. But I want to keep my license, and life. I also don't bang chicks, so no talk of banging chicks from me.

Good thread.I'll stay in touch with it.

If you plan on coming over to the Peterborough area/Kawarthas let me know, sounds like my kind of ride.
+1 on holding off from putting her to bed.Still time for a ride :)

Why are we talking about next season already? We still have Indian Summer to look forward too. November 10th weekend is looking pretty good weather wise so far. Any excuse for a ride is good for me.

If a sport-tourer fits your target group, I would be interested. I am certainly mature (cough*old*cough) and like to ride a little closer to the posted speed limit than many sport bike riders.
