Mature sport bike rider group

Why are we talking about next season already? We still have Indian Summer to look forward too. November 10th weekend is looking pretty good weather wise so far. Any excuse for a ride is good for me.

I will probably go to a hunting trip that weekend with my buddies but I really don't care who the leader is for the group ride. So feel free to use this thread to organize something if you wish. I do hope the gathering place is close to Hwy7&Young area so it is easier to go up, left or right (nobody likes to go down:-)) for the future. There is a TH right at the N&E corner of HWY7/Young, where there is a plaza with Home Depot.

If a sport-tourer fits your target group, I would be interested. I am certainly mature (cough*old*cough) and like to ride a little closer to the posted speed limit than many sport bike riders.

+1.

My 05 ZX10 is laughing at me cause I'm a wimp.
It only reached close to redline once...the time it
was on the dyno... hahaha. I'm in

Damn I am occupied this weekend and this may be the last warm weekend this season. You guys have good time. Hope I will get lucky next time:-)

Riceburner!! How are you doing? You rode past me the other day while I was stuck in my work truck. You were taking advantage of the HOV lane and it was bloody cold out...I was so jealous. haha

With the cost of insurance you pretty much have to be in the "Mature" bracket to afford to ride a sport bike and if not, you are mature by the time you get your license back. LOL

I have a bike that is turning 35 soon!!

I have been looking at this thread and love riding with mature riders that ride with common sense etc.

I fit the age demographic - but have a small problem though - I ride a cruiser....

Hi guys. I hope all is well. As the weather is soon turning for better, I figured I should revive this thread and get everybody a headsup for the great season ahead of us. The winter seems last forever but finally I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just installed the battery back, put back fairings, checked all the pieces on my r6. She seems to be happy to be brought out of hibernation :-) and started up right away. I am just waiting for a couple of good showers and close to double-digit temp. All set to rocknroll for the year. Hopefully I will see some of you riders soon. Ride safe. Cheers.

My bike will be ready within a week. Hopefully the weather will soon follow. Sooooo close...

You'll probably be the least sore after the first ride of the season!
