Isn't that a v-shaped rod in your sig?! v-nis envy, perhaps?
I love the leafs but after the whole salary cap and going on strike a couple of years back it just turned me off of hockey. I did catch a couple of days but now there's so many new guys i don't even know who they are.
you actually think the habs will miss the playoffs??? lmao
Jack-*** Sens fan here. And we're still around, it's just the rivalry that's dead ... At this point in the season, it's benefitial to be behind the leafs in the standings; 10th place year-after-year gets you a whole team full of Pogges and Schenns, hardly a recipe for a Stanley Cup!
And the Sens recipe has been any better? lol They choke more then a cheap hooker.Jack-*** Sens fan here. And we're still around, it's just the rivalry that's dead ... montreal was plagued with issues to but the difference is that when the habs are weak they build on top of what they have....they dont rebuild from the ground up every year...ive lived in toronto for most of my life and love hockey but its just ridiculous that you pay 400 a ticket for good seats to watch a bunch of no names lol other citys dont do this?? its toronto fan's that can be blamed for the crappy team lol
and as for the Goaltender situation with montreal i agree with Chris 100% lol
but as a true habs fan....toronto will never be anything more than a stepping stone for other teams (no offense to anyone except leaf management)
Alsooo montreal is in 5th not 6th lol but 2 points still separate it lol
Well the Sens don't have depth past their first line, and I can't remember them ever having a true starting goalie except with grber but he didn't play well for them and thats no secret. They always have pretty good defense but you still need a starting goalie or it's all worth nothing. Picking up Pascal Leclaire will IMO turn their season around assuming he comes back strong and healthy playing like he did before Mason took over in Columbus. Leclaire is a genuine starting goalie that many teams needed and I think the Sens got lucky by grabbing him.
On the topic of goalies though, Montreal could really use some help right now with Hallak sick and Price playing poorly. Montreal was supposed to go deep this year, they have a good team and they just can't pull it together it seems. I said last year when the coach and GM were arguing about brining up Price they should leave him in the AHL and play Hallak as their #1 and I still stand by that, Price is going to be like Fleury IMO and not be what he could have been if he developed properly as a young professional in the AHL before coming and battling in the NHL. Fleury will never live up to what he could have been because he struggled hard to find confidence after coming up from bombing the world juniors and then having two loosing seasons in the NHL, where Price had all the confidence but plenty of uncertainty because it was well known his coach didn't think he was ready and he just developed too fast and won't ever be as good as he could have.

Habs fire Carbonneau...didn't see that coming.. Do you think he was doing THAT bad a job?? And at this time of year??
