Marco Melandri and Leon Haslam finished 1 and 2 in todays WSBK race. :)

For such a young team. A fine accomplishment.

Both bikes are relly great.The only thing i can get out of all this discussion,is that there is a very fine line between true top of the podium performance and a grenade.

Well..there are penalties and then there are penalties.. :-) WSBK was a Ducati love-in for most of the 90's..which is why everyone else left..
 
WTF! Well I guess I don't need to watch the race now, keep on bickering about the bikes but don't ruin any more racing.

Actually it's a thread about the dyno numbers of a street bike that is not in wsbk.

It wasn't you that posted the spoiler, you don't know what the thread is about and clearly you aren't bothered by the results being posted so why are you involved in this? Exercising your fingers?

Well, this thread has been sliding into Ducati vs BMW in WSBK and which is faster at the track blahblahblah for 3 pages..it's not surprising someone would post BMW's victory as a rebuttal. It's a bit ridiculous to think it wouldn't get posted. I understand the no spoiler rule in the thread title..but buried 8 pages deep into a race bike argument..I don't think it's that unbearable that Nutella jar jokes are necessary.

You're both right. Thanks for posting the result. Now I don't have to waste my time watching a race where the top two finishers don't have a chance in hell of winning the championship.

Both races were action packed and quite outstanding regardless of the winners.
 
Sweet, except the action is ruined because we know the result. Seriously if I get an infraction I don't care, your an ******* for thinking it was the natural course of this thread to ruin the results for people. It's even better that you don't care, complete ********.

ZX14's and Busa's are about the torque, not the HP. They redline at 11k RPM and don't compete in HP with the SuperSports. The dyno's I see for the stock ZX14 and Busa's have peak torque numbers just over 100 compared to the 85.9 on the 1199 graph shown. 2012 ZX14 I see 117 ft-lbs.
