List of guns in the ban proposal USA

It could be a case of pick the most extreme bill you think you could get away, with so after all the amendments something may stick.

She'll have to drag that bill uphill all the way, in both directions.

I'd be willing to bet she get's shot first.

I should hope not. The last thing the antis would need is a martyr and there's plenty more where she came from. Plenty of "I don't want it so you shouldn't have it" idiots out there

name calling again lol, no sense of proportion, brick wall

Even if they ban them do you really think all those guns will dissapear.
The only way it might work is if the goverment offered to buy the illegal weapons like they did in Australia.
It was successfull in Austrailia.

Many people would just pack them in cosmoline, put'em in ABS containers and bury them in the yard out of sheer protest for unjust confiscations. A buyback program is just a prelude to confiscations. Eventually the government draws a line in the sand and says "ok, from now on we're not buying them from you and you're a criminal".

It probably will never happen.
They love thier guns too much.
Lets ban drugs too.. oh ya that hasn't worked out well either.

some people still don't understand USA 2nd amendment.......thick like brick....

I like how they keep saying they need their guns in case the government gets corrupt and starts screwing the people. Are they really that blind to the fact that they are getting screwed every day by their government?

Jersey gun turn in. Get a $20 bank card for rifles, get a $250 bank card for pistols.

They turn in everything that isn't on her list. :)

USA, cough up a Trillion for the black ones.

Should be easy in your time of prosperity.

Lol.. Just bulk-buy a bunch of Norincos at wholesale prices, smuggle them across the border and make a tidy profit :D

Turning in rifles for $20 lol...probably all broken.

They'll get shipped to Texas and run through a public auction, I'm fairly partial to the double gun 32nd from the right.....Jersey has to pay for the bank cards they are handing out.

I would buy a gun in those circumstances. Unfortunate but you got to do what you got to do. Until then, no*. If I felt I needed a high cap. assault rifle I would move.

* "until then" isn't coming to Canada if we play cards right.

No difference for a majority of people out there, especially those living outside of metropolitan areas. 911 response at best is a few minutes (if you're lucky)... at worst? Half hour? An hour?

If you're in imminent danger and need the police, a few minutes might as well be a few hours. You either want to be prepared to defend yourself, or you don't. Like I said before, no different from having a fire extinguisher you'll probably never use. Keeping a firearm locked up in a safe in your closet is cheap insurance.

But what about a crappertack where you get invaded mid wipe and your gun cabinet is at least 50 steps away?

Also I think the buy back scheme is brilliant as all the crackheads and meth heads will steal the guns from less secure homes killing two birds with one stone....some crack heads will also probably get shot in the process and some homeowners too and it'll all go round in a merry circle again. A self perpetuating sequence of lunacy.

We've run this debate for weeks now, its circular at best.

The law abiding citizens that like sport shooting and hunting are not nor have they ever been the problem. When the 2nd amendment was written, long guns fired 1 round every two minutes and a sabre was considered handier.

For a lot of those turned in guns, better to keep them out of the hands of 4th generation owners that may have no idea that modern loads have way more pop than what grandpa could buy. Damascus barrels anybody?
