Like watches? post a pic of your watch, and a pic of your favourite watch

Ya. :munky2:
I'm unwashed too, and i don't have a watch either, what's good?

My dad use to say "never trust the reliability of a man who don't wear a watch"

I didn't wear a watch for years relying on my cell phone for time, which worked ok but I can't go without a watch now. My wife bought me a Fossil watch for xmas 2010 and my desire to own more has grown a little.

I purchased this Aviator watch in August of 2011.

I recently purchased this Michael Hill watch with red accents rather than blue.

This year my wife bought me a really cool watch case too, just need to fill the void spaces.

My wife got me a Traser for xmas.

OK, I give up on inserting images, anyone see why it's not working?

I also have a Witschi ALC 2000 tester to check if watches are waterproof. (Pretty awesome toy but it doesn't see much use).

I don't know what you are doing but you could save the image to a photo hosting site like photobucket.com or imageshack and simply copy the image url to the site.

BTW, nice Traser.

if the image is comming from your computer than i dont know how it works....but if its comming from a website than make sure you uncheck the local reference when you link the image via the post.

just engraved a bunch of these g-shocks for a cutomer. didnt know they were so cool, so thats my latest purchase, also the factory in thailand is under water and near demolished. So they are going up in prices apparently.....i remember the old g shock from the 90s and the simple white one that they wear in rap videos...

also doing a Movado right now thats all carbon fibre! its fast! lol
but no where near as fast as my Omega.

This pic reminds me of what my wife bought me when I came home with a bike................

a coffin.

:)

.

This is what my wife promised me when I brought home my first bike.

She came around quickly and often jumps on the back. She says she won't be so forgiving if I ever come home with any ink though.;)

Great collection! I have the black and orange Monsters as well, wouldn't mind a number of your other watches

Can anyone recommend a heart rate monitor watch with gps - anyone use one of these for fitness stuff?

The Garmin stuff works pretty well (avoid the forerunner 405, people have problems with that one, the 305 is ugly but well reviewed). I am not sure if any can do heart rate through the watch or whether they all require the chest strap. I have used an edge 305 whenever I am on a bicycle for the past few years and it works. The only problem I have is it sometimes shuts off over really rough patches (known problem with weak battery springs).

Orient Star for the price is a very well made timepiece. I'm not sure if they are marketed in North America, but a top tier producer in Asia. For the $250-$500US its a lot of watch

The old saying "If you have to ask" applies.

The Mille stuff is a level of silly that probably excludes 98% of this group. I'd indulge myself if i had more money but when it comes to down payment money for a second home its hard to get my head around. My brother walked in yesterday with a new Brietling Crono stainless, he got it duty free coming thru HongKong but was still $4,600.US , its a bag full more here. I cant spend that kind of cash.

If that's a down payment on a second home, I want to see your house.

" the designer brand has indeed taken the meaning of exposure to new levels with this all-sapphire RM56 timepiece. Just like most of his other brilliant works, this one too will be a limited edition of 5 units, each with a price tag of $1.65 million"
